Great!
I am a nursing student and I love this. It’s great for studying and learning anatomy. The paper quality is good for colored pencils, ok for markers. I used Staedtler triplus fineliner (yes I spelled them correctly) markers on a page and it was a few steps away from bleeding through, so I only use them for dotted things (such as ribosomes) and they worked great. The only thing although this is more on the colored pencils I was using; Prismacolor premier. They are a higher quality pencil with a very high pigment to wax ratio, and when going over some of the more detailed portions of the pages it can mute / make it more difficult to see the printed details. So I recommend using a pencil brand with a higher wax ratio such as crayola. Again not really important, but something to note. This book is also great for covering the one page with the labels and quizzing yourself, some books I’ve had previously have the labels on the same page which makes it much harder to do so. There are also review questions at the back of each unit which help with the smaller things. As well all the notes about the anatomy are thorough and explained clearly. For more details there are smaller portions that i have within my classes, and it is quite easy to add another label here and there.A lot of words, but to sum up this is great and fun for anyone studying anatomy. I would recommend!

I bought this to spite an ex
I had a very similar copy of this book years ago from a college figure drawing class, and it was so helpful my then-partner of the time "borrowed" it to study for his medical classes. Three years later and we break up, and he gave back everything but my copy of the coloring book. I was pretty mad about it, but eventually moved on and the book was relegated to the back of my mind- until recently, when a friend reminded me about it and I got mad all over again. I couldn't find a copy of my original book, so I figured the most recent would be fine- and it is! It breaks down everything in easy to read diagrams & explanations- and the pictures are so clear! Turns out I got the better of the deal, both in the breakup and the book.

So detailed!
I’m currently reviewing gross anatomy to prepare for Anatomy and Physiology and Cadaver Lab in the fall (I’m an Occupational Therapy student.) This coloring book has beautiful illustrations that really do help you understand different structures and functions in the body. Each illustration/coloring page has a synopsis of the material that is very closely related to the Netter’s atlas (pictured) that I bought for school as well. One thing I got especially giddy about was that it includes the origin, insertion, action, and nerve innervation of every muscle! I really wish I had this book when I took applied kinesiology as an undergrad for this reason (I’m a visual learner and we didn’t have access to cadavers as undergrad students.) I highly recommend this book to anyone who is studying anatomy - ESPECIALLY in a clinical context! It’s great to use to reiterate material you learn in lecture and lab, and I really like to do it when my brain feels fried from studying.

Netter’s anatomy coloring book is awesome
The media could not be loaded. I love it! It arrived yesterday and I was so excited so when I opened it up, I’m in awed and it’s like I’m learning about human anatomy all over again since high school. I’m a high school graduate so this is a college or on a professional level compared to the other coloring books.I test out by following the instructions and all, it’s amazing! Honestly, it’s so much fun and satisfying compared to the artistic coloring books out there that bore me easily. But I got so hooked to this book! I couldn’t stop coloring and learning about it! Yay I’m really excited to use this to apply to my pre med path. This is going to be so helpful to me especially with the ebook version so I can use that to apply for the notes and such. I highly recommend it. It will be so beneficial. I haven’t got far in the book yet but pretty much, there’s a lot of positives compared to one negative. If only this had a big spiral, that would be great but it’s fine, it’s a minor negative so it’s not a big deal to me. Look for this textbook on YouTube videos, there’s one that specifically talk about this and that’s how I was convinced that I had to choose this out of the other human anatomy coloring books and it was definitely worth every single dime of my money haha. The drawings in this book will help me so much to practice my drawing, as to inspire me to advance my note taking skills. All I can say is that, don’t miss out and do not let the reviews let u think that u shouldn’t get it because of the low reviews, I assure you, the other ones are either not fully accurate, in depth and for many reasons which is why I chose this textbook. This is actually made by the professor who have years of experience alongside with many help of professors, scientists and such. Don’t miss out on this!

I teach exercise science and assign coloring pages in some classes to reinforce anatomy and physiology lessons. We use a variety of coloring books depending on the views presented and the focus of the lesson. I like this book because it'z uncluttered- directions and information about the body part on the left page, illustrations for coloring on the opposite page. Also includes review questions at the end of chapters. As a teacher, I'd like more directions on colors to use (would make grading easier) but that isn't an issue for the most users. Also, there's a lot of gray shading on the illustrations - nice for detail, less attractive than some other books for coloring.
