My daughter has recently started biting her nails and she helped pick these necklaces out as an alternative to biting her nails. She LOVES wearing the necklaces and they have been helping her with an alternative to nail biting. She seems to really enjoy the texture. Once or twice it had gotten slightly pulled and it popped right off which is great for safety, helps me not worry about choking. Easy to snap back together and put right back on.

They have no adjustable cord, although they do have breakaway clasps, which is good. The necklaces are heavy, too heavy for children to wear, and they are too long. They are especially too long for babies, whose cords should be 12 inches total or less. The silicone beads attract hair and dust. See photo for length.Although these could probably be used as adult silicone chew necklaces, the colors and design make them gaudy for adult wear. This product needs some design tweaking to make it lighter and shorter for children's use.

These Chew Necklaces arrived quickly and are very cute. I love large colorful beads: they are made out of silicone and can withstand high temperatures (can be boiled to sterilize). The cord is knotted between each bead so if the necklace breaks (which is unlikely), the beads won't scatter or pose choking hazard. The necklaces feel sturdy.
