This is a beautiful book for a start, packed with gorgeous illustrations alongside the clear recipes.There is not only everything you would need for beauty, skin and hair health but also a section of recipes for cleaning products to use around the home.There is a comprehensive index and a preface focusing on building a basic pantry of ingredients. Many of these can be foraged and this information is provided.I am hugely lazy and never leave reviews but for this book I will step out of my usual snoozy introversion and recommend it highly.This is the only book you need.

Really good tips and advice with regards to having a more eco home.

Really enjoyed this book. The products that are used are affordable and do not have any obscure ingredients in them, the range is basic products are simple, convenient to use and you can use these on different things. The book also let's you know the effects of chemicals on the body and environment. Brilliant!

Only just got this, so haven't tried out anythung yet, bok looks great

After watching War Against Plastics on tv recently, I want to be rid of the amount of single use and harmful chemicals used in the home. This book is inspirational, with easy to follow recipes that drastically cut the cost of buying household products. They contain natural ingredients that do not harm the environment.

I bought this book to give me a lot of tips and ways to use natural products instead of commerciial cleaners. Although I am happy with the tips I think too much of the book is about the dangers of chemicals in cleaning products. PLEASE lets go forward and give more information about how to clean our homes and make our world safer.

I love the idea of being able to use just a few "ingredients" to do a lot of my household jobs without having loads of chemicals in plastic bottles. After all, they're the things used way before all these companies and their clever marketing existed.

Great book, easy to follow lots of very useful information. It made my transitional process of making my own cleaning products a lot easier
