About the Author Jacquelyn Lee is a twenty-year-old self-published author, poetess, creator, and activist. When she isn't writing, you can find her ordering an iced caramel macchiato at Starbucks or binge-watching episodes of Law and Order SVU. Her passion to advocate for domestic violence and child abuse is driven by her own abuse-ridden life growing up. With a mentally-ill mother and an alcoholic father, Jacquelyn was forced to grow up at a very early age. She and her younger siblings lived a life of dysfunction, neglect, and abuse.
