I absolutely love this vitamin C serum! It has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine. The formula feels comparable to much higher-end serums I’ve tried, with similar ingredients and a luxurious, smooth texture. It glides on effortlessly, absorbing quickly without leaving any sticky residue.One of the standout benefits is its brightening effect. After using this serum consistently, I've noticed a noticeable improvement in the radiance of my complexion. It gives my skin a healthy glow, making it look more vibrant and even-toned.There is one minor downside—the pump can be a bit finicky. Sometimes it’s hard to get the serum out, and it tends to dispense a bit of air along with the product. While this doesn’t affect the quality or performance of the serum itself, it can be a slight inconvenience when you're in a rush or trying to use just the right amount.Overall, this vitamin C serum is a fantastic product with great results, a smooth, non-sticky feel, and a brightening effect that works wonders for my skin. The pump issue is small. Nonetheless, it’s a great value, especially when compared to pricier serums on the market.

This is my second vitamin c skincare product and I’m glad to say I won’t be switching to another one. Before, I tried a Korean vitamin c cream but didn’t notice any effect from it whatsoever.Prequel has brought me the nicer-quality serum that I need. I love that Dr. Sam Ellis makes this important skincare staple both approachable and affordable.It’s very liquidy so it took me a few tries to get the hang of application. I tried pumping several drops directly onto my face like some people do—but I have sensory issues and dislike that feeling.What I do is make a “cup” with the palm of my hand and pump 1-2 pumps of product into it so it pools. I dip my ring finger to get some of the serum and then apply it in large “dots” onto my forehead, then repeat the finger/dot method for my cheeks, chin, neck and nose. Then I use my fingers to collect remaining product from my palm and use them to rub in all of the “dots” evenly.I have dry skin. In my experience this serum is not sticky or tacky after applied. It feels smooth, plump and nice. The smell is a bit strange but I don’t mind it and it goes away after a few minutes. I usually wait 2-5 mins before applying my moisturizer and sunscreen to let it soak in.I will say you should apply this to bare skin always. I accidentally applied it over some leftover self-tanner lotion on my face and it was extremely itchy and uncomfortable all day. Use it as the first step for daily routine and you’ll be good to go.

Love it!Yes it’s watery and yes it smells a bit like hotdog water (must be the ferulic acid) but 2 pumps into my palm and I’m able to pat it into my face. No dripping, no stickiness, no wastage, it is NOT greasy like another review said….and it works. Stubborn discoloration on forehead that I’ve had for years and it’s fading.

I got this product as a recommendation from Dr. Shereene Idriss on YouTube to replace my Drunk Elephant C-firma. First off, what is up with the pump on this thing? When I tried to do a pump on my face directly, it shot down my neck and down my shirt. The consistency is very watery, so I suggest doing a pump in the cup of your hand and applying to your face with your fingers. I have dry combination skin. It also feels a bit heavy and sticky and I can tell that I have it on all day under SPF moisturizer, but my face does look brighter, my fine lines are smoothes out and my dark spots are going away. I haven't really noticed a bad smell though. Overall, the price is great so I would say give it a try and see if you like it.

Cohesion on point, synergy of ingredients totally there, couldn't ask for more really...you have sufficient enough % of ascorbic acid in combination with ferulic acid, in my opinion one of the best ways to enhance the efficacy of both( chef kiss with that SPF on top), the ergothioneine cranks up the antioxidant effectiveness making it a super gentle yet moisturizing on the skin, formula is not super runny so points for that too, definitely have noticed my hyperpigmentation fading away as well as my skin looking brighter and has assisted with expression lines, perfect for beginners and maintenance users, price point very well maintained for such a competitive field, one of the best formulas out there!

Very good product to add to your routine. It will give your face a healthy glow. The smell is the only down side but the product is worth the smell. Highly recommend and will continue to purchase.

The serum is good, nothing to complain about, but the packaging, it’s terrible, one pump will splash half a bottle. I had to put in another amber glass bottle, no way to use it in original one

Great solution. As compared to previus vit c solutions I've tried, this one is much less oily. It does come out very thin and liquid, however it absorbs so well into the skin without any residue. Wears well under moisturizer and makeup
