I brought this as I wanted to learn how to cut up a whole leg of lamb into steaks. It just glided through the cutting process with ease. Very sharp so be careful as I accidentally sliced my finger si be careful. I am going to purchase more of them as they are very sturdy knifes that looks like they will last. Knives are razor sharp out the box! Slices bread with ease and little crumbs created. Slide through meat like butter. Come with plastic sheaves which protects them in the draw and from cutting your hands when handling. Good length, feel great in the hand, tang is full length of the handle with sold rivets and should last a lifetime.
