I believe the packaging allowed for the product to be severely damaged on the inside. It did not come in a box, but like a regular mail. Once I took it out, the bag on the outside had sticky coverings and smelled intensely like fish. I tried washing it off but they oil on it was stuck. Then I finally opened the bag and inside most pills were crushed. Whatever was in the crushed pills spilled onto the non-crushed pills, making those smell and be sticky. I am not sure if it would be safe to continue taking the pills as there was no expiration date, no indications on how to store properly, and because I don't know how long the pills have been crushed.

If you are looking for fish oil without the fishy aftertaste then don’t go with this one. It’s just as bad as cheap drug store brands. That taste when I burp is awful and makes me sick. Also every time I take it I get a lot of pressure in my chest and heart palpitations that induce panic attacks. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I was planning to return but it seems more trouble to return then to just suck up my losses. Definitely not worth the money.

I usually order the lower dose version of this (800mg EPA 600mg DHA), which is the least-worst Fish Oil I have found. However, this nearly identical item (same label, bottle etc) was not only a higher dose (1200mg EPA + 900mg DHA) but also the WORST smelling fish oil I have found. Get the same vendor product labelled "Natural Lemon Taste" for a much better product (same cost per pill).

I’ve been taking this fish oil for 2 weeks now: absolutely no burps or fishy taste/smell

I have 3 things that a fish oil I buy must have. First it has to have a high EPA and DHA mg per serving. Second, it can't have fish tasting burps after I take it. And third, the product has to be a reasonable price. This product met all my criteria so I will be purchasing again. The pills are easy for me to swallow and I don't taste anything after taking them. As far a pain relief goes, it is very hard for me to tell if ANY fish oil, by itself, helps. Its more like its one of many things I do for pain relief. Like eat a clean diet, try to get a good nights sleep, exercise the best you can, do stretches everyday, along with fish oil. The most important thing is to keep your doctor informed of everything you do, and everything you take.
