This 2-CD benefit release for indigenous environmental groups features cuts by Soul Asylum, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Bruce Cockburn, Bonnie Raitt, John Trudell, Exene Cervenka, Rusted Root, Victoria Williams, Latin Playboys, Mathew Sweet and Indigo Girls. The release will be serviced to college, AAA, alternative and public radio. The lead "singles" will be Soul Asylum's "Motel Notell" and Toad the Wet Sprocket's "Crazy Life."

Arrived in good condition
Arrived promptly and in good condition just not crazy about the music, wasn't recorded very well, lots of chanting, but I like the concept of the concert and that's what caught my attention.

A Great Album with an Important Indigenous Message
A call to attention and a beautiful callback to Native Heritage. This compilation album has the Best of the Best of Indigenous Musicians and Poem-Writers, not to mention an important message from the Honor the Earth Foundation.

Many artists I was not aware of but ended up buying their other work after hearing this. Evocative and empowering songs selections. One of the few CDs I own that I would push on others.

Musik vom Feinsten!
Eine wirklich geniale, sehr vielfältige und gelungene Mischung an bekannten und weniger bekannten Musikern und verschiedensten Musikrichtungen. Viele Natives haben hier die Gelegenheit erhalten, zu zeigen, was für hervorragende Musiker sich unter ihnen befinden, die viel zu selten Gehör erhalten.

Verschiedene Interpreten/Musikrichtungen mit teilweise erstaunlich hohem Niveau. Zu schade dass man sie hier so wenig kennt! Eine meiner Lieblings-cds geworden. Kann sie nur weiterempfehlen! Viel Freude damit!
