God Never Blinks: 50 Lessons for Life's Little Detours

The 50 lessons were short and meaningful. So inspired that I bought additional copies to give to family members.

Loved the book, Regina has lots of words of wisdom. The booked definitely sparked emotion in me, loved her stories. I highly recommend reading, you won’t be disappointed.

And, it didn't work. I was a little hesitant to start reading given the title. But, I was at an Airbnb in Ocean Springs, MS on Christmas, it was on the shelf, and I decided I'd at least give it a try. I didn't finish it before I left that Airbnb, but bought a digital copy on the way to the next. For me, it was exactly what I needed to read to open my eyes to how fortunate I am to be healthy and getting to turn 40. I could go on forever about its profoundness for me, but all I can say is read it. Be prepared to cry. For your own wounds, mistakes and miracles to be brought to the surface. I've already purchased a copy for my mom and a couple others to read.

I bought this book for a rather unusual reason. In a recent AARP magazine, Hoda Kotb and Kathy Gifford were interviewed about their friendship. The interviewer asked Hoda what was on her bedside table. She replied that there was always a copy of "God Never Blinks". As I am always looking for new inspirational and meditative books, I decided to order it immediately. Instead of reading one of the 50 entries a day, I just plowed straight through and am starting all over. There is something in there for everyone. Obviously, Ms. Brett has come through some difficult times and has found a great faith. When I can see myself being described on the page, I know, first of all that I am not alone, and I am consoled that others have been there, too. I felt like Ms. Brett could drop by for dinner and at 3 or 4 in the morning, we would still be exchanging experiences. We've all had those detours and we all need to be encouraged that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Buy this book. You'll love it. But don't do what I did. Enjoy each entry and give yourself time to assimilate each one. There'll be another there for you tomorrow.

God Never Blinks is such an incredible book that shows you how blessed you are to be able to celebrate YOUR life. Even with all the flaws and oops in your life, that you feel are so wrong and unfair. This book is so good, definitely a lot more than I expected. It have made me realize so many little things in life , it is definitely worth it I love it I'll be sending it to a friend once I'm done🤍

I would highly recommend this. I have the Kindle version and it's great for reading all the way through to start with and then dip in and out as different parts appeal to you at different times. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn life lessons the easy way - from someone who has learnt them the hard way. Interesting anecdotes and real life examples that make you sit up and take notice. Easy to read, lovely writing style, what's not to like...

I must prefer the other book from this author ‘Be The Miracle’, so read that one first if you can as it’s a real hearth warming.This book made me feel very sad instead.

A repeat purchase. Read mine, loved it and passed it on to daughter. Bought another and gave that to a friend. Bought another...and another... Very useful to keep the faith in when feeling low. One book that you will read over and over again, or pass on to young christians.

Highly recommended.Just read a few pages, you'll feel better about yourself and the world.

Although I may not agree with everything in this collection I found a lot of it relatable, inspiring and often reassuring. It's very readable and I will take some ideas with me in my own life.
