Cotton Mouth Masks Replaceable Filter (One Mask + 8 Filters) 4 Layer Activated Carbon Filter Insert Dust Mask Washable for Women Light Pink

I bought this for my wife who has an auto immune disorder called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Allergens and odors (like perfumes) can set off a mast cell attack that can result in anaphylaxis. I bought this because it states that this has activated carbon inserts / filters that will filter out the odors. Not only does it not do that, but the mask is made of cotton and it isn't comfortable to wear for any period of time. It does not breathe well. Due to being made from a cotton like material the mask holds in the moisture from your breath and becomes moist quickly. I did not expect that this mask would be a miracle. I know it is not a chemical respirator. I had hoped that it would be a mask that would help somewhat, maybe even a little, with odors. It just doesn't do that. Not even a little. Forget wearing it for any length of time. It gets too hot and moist. To sum up: it isn't a very good mask. It doesn't do what it is supposed to do.

I bought this mask to use during my anatomy lab course, where we work with cadavers that have been preserved with formaldehyde. The smell is terrible and can easily give you a headache. This mask really does make a difference. It does a great job of blocking foul odors, and when you need an extra boost you can put a bit of peppermint oil or something similar on the inside. It comes with plenty of carbon filters, which are fairly easy to put in and take out of the mask. The mask is soft and comfortable, and the bands (which go around each ear) are easy to adjust so the mask can fit perfectly over your nose and mouth.

I use masks when flying & in crowded areas because I’m on chemo. This is the best mask so far! It was comfortable & I like the charcoal filter for additional filtering.

This mask is so cute and functional!! It’s comfortable and fits really well! It works great!! Plus it’s supper cute!! I love it!!

Did not work keeping out smells and very hard to breath with it on. Will research something else.
