Fun Coming Your Way
I selected this book because a few years ago my friend and I made a project from the internet to create beautiful concrete bird baths from rhubarb leaves. It was fun, relatively easy and quite rewarding when complete. This book offers a myriad of similar fun, easy projects and so now my friends and I will have even more projects to try. I read through the book and with my prior limited experience I understood all of the directions. They are clear and concise and seem to include all the steps to complete the project for a rewarding outcome. If you've never tried making items from concrete and you are even a bit crafty, you'll have fun. I also envision it as a good catalyst to do parent -child projects or grandparent- grandchild projects. Nice, wholesome, meaningful memories!

This is a "must have" for concrete projects!!!!
I love this book!! If you want to make garden deco out of concrete, I highly recommend it. It has fabulous ideas, and tells you how to do the projects, providing directions that are easy to follow. Likewise, it encourages your creative side, so that you can come up with your own molds and creations. If you are serious about concrete projects, this is a must have.

simple projects, clear photos, clear instructions, confusing layout and arrangement
The best thing about this book are the beautifully staged, clear pictures though i wish the making instructions would have been inline with the photo gallery more like a chapter title then a gallery section and an instruction section because the momentum gets lost on the excitement of finding the thing you want to make and looking at how to make it..flipping back and forth between the how to and the photos where one left off just doesn't help. The front of the book has large photos of each project with an unnecessary fluffy discription as if the book was trying to be a coffee table book then referencing the page in the back where there are smaller clear photos of steps to take to make each item showcased earlier, the actual reason someone buys a book like this. The projects are relatively simple and clearly explained and there is enough variety to get ideas on things one could do with the knowledge gained from the book. However, I feel like the book was stretched out a bit longer then necessary. Fir example, the author found several different silicone molds and showcased each one for a specific project in the book instead of just having a section on what one can do with found silicone molds. The author also had multiple angels and how to create them. This is fine, people may want a few different ways to make their favorite subject matter adorn their garden.. but earlier in the book it showed how to press a leaf into the cement. Honestly this isnt much different then pressing a metal angel into the cement. So i think my criticism is in the editing, layout, and contextual arrangement of the book and in no way about the beautiful photography or the clear instructions.

Fun with concrete, in the yard
I have looked at several library books on the topic and was looking for one book to buy so I could succeed at playing with concrete and making stuff for the yard. It is just the right length, well written, nicely illustrated, just enough options to try. Looking forward to giving things a try.

Easy instructions!
I love this book, once I figured out how to click and find the instructions, it's great. I may down-grade from the 5 stars after I do my first project. Clear instructions, easy to find supplys to make what you want. I am starting out on small projects, with my eye on a couple of large ones!

Concrete Garden Projects ...
This is the first book I've read regarding making things out of concrete/cement. Was a bit unsure as to whether to buy it at first. But glad that I did. I have been making mosaic pots and stuff for the garden up to now so this was a revelation. Totally in contrast to my mosaiced pieces which are so bright and decorative. These are so plain but with lovely clean lines and look so good with a house leek or such growing out of them. I have already made quite a few pots. Inspirational. Thanks very much.

peu de créations
Les exemples de créations sont minimes, idées facilement repérables aur le net, ne se démarque pas de d'autres livres du genre, rien de wow, déception.
