This 7 in 1 kit was really useful for starting up my espresso journey with the GCP E24. By having a full set of barista tools on day 1, I was able to pull incredible shots. Highly recommend picking up the Normcore Gaggia bottomless portafilter and a IMS Nanotech 18g basket to go along with this to start your journey into "god-tier" home espresso!

I been using this barista kit for few weeks now, and honestly it make my espresso time more easy. The parts fit well with my 58mm portafilter, no wobble or anything. Everything feel solid, not cheap plastic. The tamper and distributor move smooth, and cleaning them also easy, just quick wipe and done. I really like how all tools sit on the little stand, it keep my counter clean, no more coffee dust everywhere. The mat help too, not sticky and simple to rinse. Taste of my shots also got better since I use this set, maybe because the coffee bed now even. Quality seem good so far, I use daily morning and still all pieces look new. If you like making espresso at home but want it more tidy and simple, this kit help a lot. Pretty happy with it, not perfect but solid 4 stars from me.

This a nice set of good quality tools to speed up your workflow. I did not like having the set so close to the edge of my countertop because it seemed like it would be easy to knock the tools off the mat. I took a boxcutter and cut the overhang "lip" off so that it could lay flat and could be placed anywhere on the countertop which I like much better. It keeps me organized and looks tidy on my countertop. I have several Normcore pieces and I am always very pleased with their quality. I think this set is a good value and would be a good gift. I would recommend and buy again.

I got this kit to use with my Breville dual boiler and it’s been the perfect kit to go along with my new machine. The mat is super thick and absorbs the pressure very well without damaging our wood coffee bar. The temp fits perfectly inside of our 58mm Porta filter. Plus I really appreciate how nicely this fits in my hand when I’m taping the ground espresso beans. It’s super comfortable and fits great in your hand. There hasn’t been any gap whatsoever like I’ve seen some other people complain about online with different brands. I was a little bit unsure of the WdT tool but honestly, it’s been very convenient to be able to break up the grounds before pulling the shot. Plus, it also comes with its own stand, so I’m not just tossing the tools around and they’re protected. The tamping mat because it’s silicone or rubber stays, put on the wood countertop and doesn’t move around, but it also doesn’t stick to the counter if it gets messy we can grab it real quick and rinse it off and then dry it before putting it back on the counter. So it’s also super easy to clean. I wouldn’t recommend putting it in the dishwasher though because it does cause some fading if you do that. Make sure to only hand wash. This functions as the perfect set up with any new machine. If you get this, you likely won’t need anything else to accompany your espresso set up.

Though it may look impressive, for the price and how it arrived, I woudl not recomment. It was poorly packaged, missing the WDT, with the extra needles in a basic zip lock back, the sealed bag torn open. Being that it is incomplete and received a previuosly opened package. Further, for the price point, you would figured it would come in a better customized box vs the products just placed. Being that it may have been previously used may be why it was poorly packaged. Don’t recommend due to the price point and having received a used product.

I got this Normcore set to organize and upgrade my espresso workflow, and it’s made a difference in both convenience and consistency. I’m using it with a Normcore 58mm bottomless portafilter, and everything in the kit fits as expected - including the tamper, funnel, and WDT tool. Each tool has its own place in the stand, which keeps the counter tidy and reduces the usual mess that comes with prep. The compact layout is a big plus if you’re short on space, like I am. The tamper is well-weighted, the distributor is smooth, and the WDT tool has a proper feel, not cheap like a lot of generic ones. I wouldn’t say any single component feels ultra high-end on its own, but as a complete set, the kit strikes a nice balance between build quality and price. One small nitpick is the dosing funnel - it's lighter and thinner than other Normcore accessories I’ve used, but it still gets the job done. The puck screens are a nice bonus, though not essential for every shot, depending on your machine and basket type. Overall, this set offers great functionality, and if you're building out a home espresso station and want a cohesive setup that doesn't sprawl all over your kitchen, this kit hits the mark. It can also be a fantastic gift for someone with a compatible machine/portafilter.

This is a very good set. I am not sure on the value, as this was not cheap. You probably need to look at each item separately. The tamper is excellent. I already had a very nice expensive tamper, but this one was better than the one I was using. I did not have a 58mm distributor Tool, but have a very good 51mm for a smaller machine. This distributer was also excellent. The dosing funnel is better than any I have ever used before, The magnet is super strong and give you a very good surface area to add your grounds into the portafilter. I also appreciate the puck screen set, this is a nice thing to have with your Espresso machine. I will probably not use the tamping mat, it is not anything all that special. I did not like the WDT that came with this set. You need to insert each of the little wires, I have bought other wire tools that fit the portafilter better and the wires are stored inside a housing. This one is just not one I liked. Overall it is a great set, and would make an excellent gift. This is a bit pricier than other all-in-one sets, but these tools are mostly all on the higher end.
