Longer Replacement Laces Needed for My Wide Feet
I took another reviewers’ advice and replaced the original laces with longer l0ck laces, the longer length made ALL the difference on my wide feet, otherwise the fabric’s firmness, the plastic eyelet brackets and the original shorter laces would’ve been too constrictive. In my pics you can see the laces’ slack and how loose and relaxed the eyelet bracket becomes with longer laces, my feet are flat and wide, the bracket isn’t merely decorative, it can be adjusted. I chose white laces even though as others mention, these shoes are a light gray or moonstone color, it’s actually really pretty.I’m used to non-woven water shoes that have greater width flexibility, color options and a tongue but I bought this style for the soft, seam-free ankle and it feels marvelous. Other water shoe styles have a thick ankle seam (why?) which sometimes eats into my skin. The first pic is in low-lighting straight out of box, the others are right after purchase, over 9 hours (!!!) at a waterpark; during and after submersion in very chlorinated water, and the last is on very swollen feet and ankles testing a random pair of thin-med socks, even though I plan to only use no-shows. The color holds, the shoes mold beautifully on the foot and around the ankle, I love them! I might love them even more in a size 9. The 8.5 fit almost exact lengthwise, the 9.5 left me with too large a space at toe, a mysteriously unavailable whole size would have given me a smidge of extra breathing space, however especially after breaking in, the fit is wonderful, and I’m a woman with flat, wide feet, bunions and a metatarsal who has learned over the years to cry on the inside with almost all my shoes. They broke in SO WELL and are super comfy, flexible and RELAXED, even after walking, running and swimming for hours on end. Also almost no arch support, which my flat feet love! These dried very well outside over 14hrs with no change in shape or size. I bought these because I think dark colored water shoes look ridiculous with a bikini or boy shorts, and the super flexible ones and swim socks aren’t a great look either. These are the best of both worlds, chic, fantastic color with a more sophisticated look that does the same job. I plan to wear these as shoes also, hence the sock test, because after 8 hours walking around in and out of water, the upper material began to irritate my index toe which is slightly raised - on both feet. The grip was great except at one oddly polished patch at the waterpark where I’ve experienced slippage with other shoes! The soles are thick yet flexible enough not to give off that clumsy, stiff crocodile foot look. My nephew has the velcro kids version of this shoe after some ankle blisters with other models. He doesn’t like the ‘boring’ color options, but likes not being in pain more. These shoes are also awesome because they don’t make my feet look gigantic, or overstuffed, they don’t gap around the ankle, my toes can move, and I can walk tons of city blocks. I do plan to buy another pair. The seller deserves 1 star off for never carrying a size 9, but I am in love with the shoe that I got!

Fit exceptionally well.
Fit like a glove. Cannot believe how comfortable and sturdy these water shoes are. Support your feet but soft and comfy. Nice sole and easy to tighten when needed. Very pleased,

Most comfortable but uppers material flimsy
I love wearing these shoes which I use at the fitness center and for urban hikes. The soles are rugged and non-slip. Every time I wear them I think they’re the lightest, most comfortable yet securely-fitting shoes I’ve ever worn. The only criticism I have is that the material used for the uppers is thin and lightweight, and therefore flimsy: after wearing only a short time, my big toe’s nail (which I keep trimmed short) began wearing thru the material. No big hole yet, but it’s inevitable. That said, when it does wear thru, I’ll probably just duct tape it and continue to walk in them.

Love them for in the pool
I have had several from this company and they are always comfortable and last a long time even in hot tub. They are light weight and i never slip in them. They dry fairly fast over night.

Good quality
Just used once at an aquarium snorkel adventure w Sharks and sting rays.... I have owned several different types of these. This pair worked flawless. Good size match, good traction, like just about any other a bit o sand will get inside, I always wear w footy socks. I like this pair, good quality. Love the draw string.

comfy fit.
I've worn them a few times in the pool. They are comfy when they are on and in pool at the Y. I'm 75 and had both knees replaced plus 2 spine surgeries so it's a bit of a struggle to bend to put on. They came by the estimated date and in fine condition

Great for water, but not a lot of support
I took these shoes to a kayaking adventure and they were easy to pack as they are lightweight. They were easy to slip on and take off, they don't dry that quickly but they were okay. There isn't a lot of arch support, so I wouldn't recommend these for long walks. Note, it's really hard to get the sand off, so I'm sure I brought some back from Spain. Overall, they are a great value for shoes I only wore twice.

Medium duty
Was looking for something a little bit sturdier than the cheap stuff that you see at Walmart.. these fit the bill. just the right weight for my application - Hobie Cat sailing and beach launch..not sure how well they'll drain there are no holes in the bottom like the cheaper ones have butbottoms are medium duty squeeky rubber and the whole top seems to drain.(somewhat transparent) they're extremely comfortable as a nine and a half fit perfectly. I have one foot that's half a size bigger than the other. I wore them around the house and they're delicious, comfortable and very attractive
