I don't think they liked how the sun reflected off it or they love ...
This stuff does seem to deter the birds, I tied it to the fence and there is wind in the back so it moved which probably helped further deter them. When I initially looked up how the stop the birds from s***ting all over my car it said that the sparkly tape looked scary to them along with the sound so if you have wind that might be half the battle with this stuff to. My only problem is my neighbours are dicks who kept taking it down, I don't think they liked how the sun reflected off it or they love bird s***, who knows. Anyway it's cheaper than the owls and the homeless people collecting bottles didn't want to steal it like they probably would have the owl.

I got it to add to my owl scarecrow to use as wings as I have pigeons eating the bird seed. Keeps the pigeons away but believe it or not little birds like doves and robins don't mind the tape in the least. They are eating the seed within 2 feet of the owl with scare tape flapping away. perfect.

Good, but no where near 100 ft on the roll
This tape did work to keep grackles from dumping on my pool, but I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the short length. It made it across my 24-foot pool 2 times, so not even close to 100 feet on the roll.

Bird Problems Gone!
Works great! Scared off the birds in my backyard that were constantly nesting in the areas of my home. Definately recommend as I tried everything and this was the easiest and most effective!

Totally useless!
Within three days of hanging the Scare tape throughout the flowerbed the pheasant was back scratching and eating within a few feet of the tape. Totally useless!
