The reducer supplied with the kit is not sized for a standard faucet. Appears to be a quality control issue- it’s just a hair too small. Won’t fit on *any* spigot or hose I have. Thus, I cannot use the kit at all since I can’t even supply water to it.*Update 7/24/19* I am now returning my replacement order. I have changed my review from one star to two- I don't think there is a quality control issue, I think the description is misleading. I noted on another review someone mentioned the timer was threaded as NPR (national pipe thread) not GHT (garden hose thread) - I have a feeling the reducer shipped with the base system (I did not order the package with the timer) is also threaded the same way because in both my orders the reducer is too small to fit the hose bib on my newer house (or on any hoses I have as well). Other reviewers don't seem to have this issue but it did not work for me at all.

I found none of the hose bub fittings included in this kit fit the standard American size hose bib. The largest included is just a bit too small. Maybe it is Metric sizing?I cannot review more until I get it installed, so off to Home Depot for a connection that fits and some 1/2 feeder line that is not included (which I knew when I ordered it).

Instructions were vague...tried to get more info from website, no customer support or FAQ listed on page.It wasn’t until I decided to leave a review that I noticed the manufacturer was different. Not sure if it makesany difference; this review is for KINGSO watering system......

Does not fit US standard outdoor faucets. Other than that the design is somewhat bizarre, instructions are in broken English and unprofessionally printed, and it just all comes in a zip lock bag.

I ordered two sets to ensure I got enough of the hose. I spent 1 hour setting up one set on my roof to reach 8 plants, so that I can water them automatically and easily from the ground. No problem setting it up and also no problem really to connect the hose with the pieces, a bit of elbow grease helped. It works just fine, although I probably need to run them on minimum setting to avoid overwatering, but YMMV. Recommended.

Nice kit, however it uses NPT vs NH 3/4 (garden hose) so you cannot connect it to your hose. That's a pretty major oversight, at least in the US.

The product I received was not for American hoses. The part that connects to the hose was the wrong size.

This is a horrible product. The pieces are not consistent. Once you finally get it assembled, it comes apart constantly. The zip ties do not work. Regulating the water pressure does not help. I gave up and threw it away. I am an avid plant person and I found it easier to rig something up on my own.
