Yeah, jam will definitely work. I have used it for everything in my kitchen(I am a professional chef). If the jam is too thin, it may run out of the tip of the tip is too large

The 18 inch fits the large tips. It won't fit my small ones the couple falls through. I am hoping this one works. One size does not fit all. Kne for cupcakes, large decorations and piping cookies and , detailed work.
