High quality visuals, chock full of features, no brainer purchase!
Video Quality:Absolutely amazing quality. With 4K, HDR, and HDR10 support, everything looks amazing. The colour definition and contrast is really good in any lighting condition (sunlight through windows, lights on, and cinema style dark). Used for gaming and streaming, didn't disappoint.Features:Dolby, HDR10, and 'Intelligent' settings means it changes the settings automatically based on the type of media you play on it. Android is pretty stable on it with a lot of space for apps.Sound Quality:This is the only area it could be a bit better. As long as you set the right EQ settings, sound is not too bad. Also able to use with my bluetooth earphones so late night viewing is a great experience.Value for Money:Hands down the best value for money of any TV in the world right now.

Great TV with some flaws
This TV really is great for the price. I can install all the apps I want and they all play at full HD or 4K. The picture quality is very nice, I was expecting more on the HDR side compared to my older Samsung TV but I did not really notice much of a difference. The only issues I have with the TV are -1. The processing power of the TV seems very poor, it can take a fair bit of time to open apps and navigate around in them. The major concern I have is that I am unable to run two apps at the same time, I use a VPN and find once I start using another app, the VPN app just stops working. I'll just purchase a firestick to resolve this issue.2. The freeview TV is all in SD. I have not found it possible to view any UK TV channels in HD yet without having to launch their respective app (Even then the ITVX app does not allow me to watch live TV, just catchup). All in all it is a good TV for the price if the above issues do not concern you.

The best value for money 55” 4K smart tv on the market
I bought this to replace an ageing Toshiba 49” “smart” (wasn’t very smart) TV that weighed a ton, only had 1080p resolution and didn’t even have a working Freeview. The pros:- Extremely lightweight- Crisp, bright picture with no ghosting or artifacts- Unusually fast processor, no waiting around after selecting options- The price is phenomenally low- Has all the apps, connections you could want and has Freeview Play which means I could finally pick up HD digital channels after years of Standard Definition- The sound is fantastic without a soundbar, it really feels like you do have a sound set-up with the in-built speakers (but again that could be because I’m used to the tinny old ones on the Toshiba)Cons- Feet are a little flimsy. I am very careful when moving the tv (to access ports etc) that I lift it rather than drag or twist as I fear the legs may snap- Sometimes it doesn’t respond to being turned on via the remote immediately. This bothers my husband more than me- The menu takes some time to get your head around. I was used to an old TalkTalk box but it’s just a learning curveHonestly for this price I don’t think you can get any better on the market. It’s a great option for upgrading to 4K without spending hundreds and hundreds. Also, the TCL app enables you to screen capture, which is constantly a source of amusement for me (Pause Face is a thing).

Good all rounder
Very good indeed - 55" is a good size for most living rooms - Picture quality excellent, good contrast and nice depth of colour. Sound - whilst a soundbar would be better, for a TV the sound is fairly decent, just a little short on the bass.Android TV a good choice, plenty of apps and ability to set granular settings.Only criticism would be the Android TV interface, can be occassionaly a little slow compared to a dedicated dongle, but as this is a sub £300 TV, it is not a deal breaker and far far from an issue.Overall, reflective of price a good 5 Star.

Amazing TV for the Price, you cant go wrong
So I had to replace my old Sony Android TV as the screen started pixel burning for some reason and saw this one and liked all its features/specs so I ordered it.Its a great TV on a par with my other old Sony Android TV, the picture is great on 4K Video and 4K gaming and the Android TV UI is smooth and fast and I am able to install all my IPTV apps from the Google Play store. The sound on the TV is better than my old Sony TV and has great sound quality the Dolby Atmos is good and the bass levels are great and not to tinny. I have a sound bar I could plug into it via optical but the sound is that good that I don't have to use it.Also its very light compared to other TV's I have so wall mounting it was a piece of cake. The motion clarity is good too and the 4K picture is amazing with lots of setting to change if you want to get it perfect for your viewing needs. The remote is good and comes with Google assistant button so you use your voice which works really well. For the price for a 55 inch Android 4k TV you cant go wrong and definitely will be looking at TCL TV's again in the future. I am well impressed.

Good price & features
Brought this as a replacement for my elderly parents.Price, size and feature list are good, everything seems to work as it should however, from time to time (and whether its the TV itself or the operators I can't say) things seem to go awry - most recently, for example, I was summoned only to find it had switched/been switched to 'shop mode' (the advertising pop-up hiding the picture). The few times I've watched it for any length of time, I've found the picture quality to be ok, and it's certainly loud enough. Remote's simple and well laid out.
