HSN 7.8" LCD Home & Car Portable DVD Player + Card Reader + USB

I was looking for a dvd player. One that had reasonable reviews whilst being reasonably priced as I wasn't after anything to flashy for just the occasional viewing.I am not really a portable dvd expert and have yet to use most of the features this thing comes with. But for general DVD viewing I was happy with. It travels well as it is relatively light in weight and easy to fold up.This is the first portable dvd player I have bought and was glad I plucked out this little gem. Screen is pretty clear for its relative small-ish size.

For the price, its a good little thing. It plays some Divx movies fine (from both USB Stick and External HDD on FAT32) and the picture quality is what you'd expect, not brilliant, but watchable. Plays DVD's just fine without hesitation.The only thing is that the time in movie is always "on" in the top left hand of the screen, not sure how to get rid of this.Good overall

I was a little skeptical of buying this, but thought I would try it out. It arrived all neatly and securely packaged. It looks pretty good, with the swivelling screen etc.. Picture quality is fine, sound is good too.Have only been using for a day now so can't really comment on any problems that may occur through wear and tear.Overall, for the price it is a good alternative to the more expensive ones, and it is fine for the kids ( well my daughter likes it and is sitting watching Barbie films on it as i write this :) )

This present was the best we could have given our grandson. With Ice age DVD he played over and over. The player performed brilliantly even when tipped up, carried everywhere and given the 6 year old treatment. Excellent buyTHIS WAS THE ORIGINAL REVIEW. AFTER TWO WEEKS THE DVD'S WOULDN'T PLAY ALL THE WAY THROUGH. THEN AFTER ONE MONTH THE DVD FAILED. WE ASKED FOR A REPLACEMENT AND THE SUPPLIER OFFERED £10 TOWARDS GETTING THE DVD REPAIRED. I DECLINED THEIR GENEROUS OFFERTHEY HAVE REFUSED TO TAKE BACK THE PRODUCT AND INCREASED THEIR OFFER TO £11. ALTHOUGH ANOTHER GENEROUS OFFER OF £1 MORE. I ONCE AGAIN DECLINEDTHEY THEN OFFERED TO SEND ME A NEW LASER UNIT WHICH I HAD TO GET FITTED AT MY COST. SURPRISE I AGAIN DECLINEDTHEY DO NO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT GOODS IN THE UK ARE GUARANTEED FOR 12 MONTHS.THIS SUPPLIER SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL THROUGH AMAZONTO READ THE MANY REPLIES FROM THIS COMPANY IS A JOKETHE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE JOKE IS ON ME AS I PAID AMAZON £50AMAZON DO NOT OFFER ANY SOLUTION AS THEY SAY YOU BOUGHT THIS FROM ONE OF THEIR MERCHANTS AND YET I PAID AMAZON.I THINK THIS IS POOR PRACTICE AND FOR AMAZON TO CLAIM NO RESPONSIBILITY IS SURPRISINGI SPEND £1,000'S OF POUNDS WITH THEM AND YET, ALTHOUGH SYMPATHETIC, THEY HAVE NOT ACTED ETHICALLY IN THIS MATTER.DO I INSTRUCT SOLICITORS TO RECOVER £50?PROBABLY NOT WORTH THE EFFORTBUYERS BEWARE WHEN ORDERING GOODS FROM MERCHANTS. For the price this is well worth the money and I would buy it again. Great for the car, beach, garden or on the plane and keeps my 2 year old happy. Still works even though she has dropped it a few times in the couple of months we've had it.

for the price its good enough play well and has usb reader just seems a little cheaply made but what do you want for for money this or pay more its up to you

RUBBISH PRODUCT, THE DVD IS NOT WORKING, ONLY THE RADIO, IS WAIST OF MONEY. I DO NOT RECOMEND AT ALL.
