I had my eye on this for awhile as a gift for my 5 year old nephew that loves dinosaurs. I decided to get it and it did not disappoint! He loved it!!I was worried how it would hold up in the hands of a 5 year old boy, but it's built well. The dinosaur part is made out of a strong plastic. It is flat but has a 3d looking image on it. When you turn it on and step back, it really does look 3d! I was impressed!I really liked all the color options. It can stay on one color or rotate through all of them. They are vibrant! And it comes with a remote for easy use. There are a lot of buttons so it can get confusing for a kid, but I read the instructions so I could show him.I also like that you have the option to plug it in or put in batteries. The battery option is great for traveling or when there is no electricity. The cord is a usb power cord. It didn't come with a plug, so you will need a usb plug.Overall, this was a great buy! Definitely a great gift for anyone that likes dinosaurs. Both children and adults!

It is just a night light if you don’t plug and unplug then it will last you forever otherwise the connection part where the charger plugs into the base it breaks easily, it’s meant to be plugged in forever..

I bought this as a gift and it was a total hit. My 7 year old nephew loved the look of the dinosaur, all of the colors it could do, and liked that he could control it with a remote. My only disappointment with it is that when it says 3D, I thought it was 3D. As in, they took a clear dinosaur toy and hooked it up to a light. No it is a flat piece of plexiglass that looks like a dinosaur. As long as you know that, and you’re ok with that, it’s a good buy. Like I said, the kid loved it.

I bought this Dino 3D night light for my 5 year old son for his birthday and it was a hit! He loves the triceratops and all the colors that come available.To change color you can touch the base or use the remote which is very convenient. The 3D effect is vivid and light is bright but can be dimmed with the remote.I did have to keep pressing the dimmer for a while before I can see the change in brightness. I contacted the seller about this issue and they quickly offered to send me a replacement free of charge. How nice! Michael responded quickly to all my emails and he was very easy to communicate with.Excellent customer service + fun night lamp for all dino fans = Five Stars

We bought this for our son who loves dinosaurs. The different colors are great, the changing of colors is an annoying option that will not help you sleep. The rest of the remote options are neat. The only change I wish it had is that the lights would go dimmer then they allow as it is pretty bright. The major thing we given low scores for is because it doesn’t appear in the pictures as 3D or projects like it is standing freely. It just looks like a lite up dinosaur. My son is happy with it, however, if we knew it wouldn’t have that effect, which we know he would of enjoyed, we wouldn’t have bought it. That being said if your looking for a cool night light with a remote to change the colors of it this will do the job. He still liked it because it was a dinosaur.

I brought this wonderful night light for my son's school friend's birthday. it was one of the most boring looking presents when he opened it at his party. The other bulky toys were a hit! I had to try to explain that it was a night light and would be very pretty....but it was still like a dud. UNTIL......he got home and plugged it up! And we started getting text messages! and then even a phone call to personally thank my son. He thought it was awesome. It's been months since I bought this product but decided to leave a review because we ran into him over the summer break and he was still raving about the night light. Totally awesome.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because after only a few hours, it broke. Amazon let me exchange it and sent me a replacement even before I had sent back the original. The light is very bright and has a lot of color options.

My 9 year old son thinks this is the greatest thing invented since sliced bread. The dinosaur design on this is amazing! His favorite part of this is the remote and all of the options...he can change the colors from his bed and he’s in charge of the timer. The remote has a good range. His bed is on the opposite side of the room and it’s no problem for the remote. The colors are vibrant yet soothing... as you can see by the pictures. I did not include all color options. I highly recommend plugging this in rather than running on batteries. We haven’t used batteries because he wants this on all the time. I love that he loves this!! I pretty much have to tuck him in and his remote too.
