Smoky Mountain Boots | Denver Series | Youth Western Boot

I wear a boy's 4.5, in pretty much every shoe style (women's 6 to 6.5, but my instep is high and toes broad, so boys fit better.) Well, it seems I should be wearing a 4, in these boots. The instep is a bit low, and the heels a bit broad, compared to shoes. Still, I just prepped them with saddle soap and will wear them 'til they dry, and hope that'll help them to form around my feet a bit better. I've tried wearing them, in the house, for a week. They just don't fit, and I will have to return them, which makes me sad. I am impressed with the leather and workmanship. I've had (used) boots, in the past, and this is my first pair, new. Price was right, style is nice, and they suit me. Thanks for a lovely product! I'll have to order a size down from usual.

My son wears his stuff out quick. He's going to have to work extra hard to wear these bad boys out. The heel is rubber, it's tough, and can be passed down to other sibling once outgrown. I'm sure of it. These are the kinds of shoes made for little boys. I won't have to worry about buying another pair of shoes after he explores a cactus patch, mudhole or rocky terrain. These boots are little boy proof! If I was to equate this boot to the average life of a sneaker. This boot will outlive 7 to 10 pairs of sneakers. I bought one size bigger, which is perfect, since they run in half sizes. He's not swimming in them, just breaking them in for extra comfort. The boot runs true to size.

My daughter really hasn't been able to wear them. They rubbed her ankle bone but are very wide in the toe area. I think her foot moves around to much in them. She normally wears a size 2, so not sure why they didn't fit better. They are a very pretty boot though.

I don't know why these boots are not receiving higher ratings? I purchased a pair of "Oil Distressed Brown" exactly 2 YEARS ago -- for our then 7 year old daughter. I have always tried to get 2 years of wear out of youth boots and seriously these are still going strong! I kid you not -- she wore them an awful lot. She wore them to all kinds of outings --- played in them and they are in great shape. Her feet have grown so I will now purchase another pair but as I checked these over today -- after a bit of shoe polish -- these will be perfect to hang onto for her younger brother to grow into -- as this style/color is good for either girls or boys. FYI — I always use a leather conditioner on boots when they are brand new. That helps to retain moisture and protect in poor weather.

The quality of these shoes is great, especially for the price. I ordered a 1.5 for my daughter and they fit a bit big but I ordered them that way so that she can grow into them. You can tell these will last a while if you take care of them. I only give 4 out of 5 because they were not delivered on time, but I believe that was an Amazon issue, not the seller's fault. Also- make sure you take all of the cardboard out of the shoes, there were 3 layers of it keeping the shoe's shape where the footbed is (not the top bear the calves) and we had no idea, so my daughter was disappointed at first thinking the shoes didn't fit, then she reached in and pulled it out!

I got this pair of boots for my nephew for Christmas last year. He is still young and grows out of his shoes quickly so I did not want to spend $100+ for a pair he would outgrow in such a short time but yet didn't want a pair that was cheaply made and would fall apart soon either. I do not typically buy shoes online because I like to be able to judge the quality, but I was having trouble finding some like he wanted in my area that was in my price range. So I took a chance and I was EXTREMELY pleased with my purchase. I have waited to post a review because I wanted to be able to say how they held up. It has been almost 8 months and they are still going strong! My nephew wears them most of the time and he has put them through a lot and the leather may be somewhat worn but nothing that isn't expected. Other similar boots were priced well above the price of these. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants the most for their money!

Seeing the reviews that said these run large, I ordered down a half size. Unfortunately I'm beginning to think my daughter just can't wear pull-on boots. This is the second pair we've tried that, despite seeming like they should fit (holding them sole-to-sole with a current pair of shoes) they just flop off her foot. Like maybe her ankles are just too slender. But they're adorable, and for the price the quality was ok. Some lining would have been nice, and the leather was very stiff, but I'm sure with wear they'd soften up.

We are TOUGH on boots in our family and expect that they'll hold up to wearing all day every day while playing, riding horses and anything else that the day brings - we also expect that they'll clean up and been presentable for ALL occasions. These fit the bill! My 3 1/2 year old daughter barely takes them off and after several months of daily wear (with shorts, leggings and dresses alike!) - they are still going strong. I purposely buy boots a half to a full size too big, so we can get our $ worth and she'll wear these for several months to come! They are REAL leather and the soles are a tad slippery, but not like other "dress-up" boots that are a slipping hazard!

They look amazing and great price. My son will be very excited Christmas morning to get them. Fast shipping as well!

They are beautiful boots and priced right I got them for my sons birthday which is next week can't wait to give them to him it's something he wanted for a long time
