Holds my bike rack nice and high over the road. I installed it upside down to give the additional height. Easy install and the product includes a gift for registering. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on easy to install is because it would be a good idea to have a torque spec and small diagram showing what order the washers go in.Otherwise it's a great product and is very sturdy.

This bumper hitch attachment has been perfect for our bike rack! I had to slide the spare tire over to make room but installing this was simple! I installed it on top of the bumper to give more clearance to my bike rack and it has worked great!One annoyance and concern is that for lighter attachments, this hitch receiver does not hold firm and I found that my bike rack bounced up and down after initial install. To correct this I hammered in a wood shim to tighten the hold. This corrected the issue.This receiver lasted a 2000 mile trip on the back of our camper without having to tighten it once! Definitely recommend!

The receiver fits perfectly and appears to be made well. The only problem I see is the receiver opening is a little too big. There is quite a bit of play when my cargo rack is inserted. I will probably have to shim it up some for it too fit in tight.

Bumper hitch adapter fit perfectly to my travel trailer 4'x4" steel bumper. My bumper has a decorative aluminum cladding, but this unit fit just fine over it. This product looks very sturdy built. This is my second purchase for bumper hitch adapter because I initially purchased one, but the u-bolt snapped, so I had to return and purchased this. This one is more heavily built and designed I wanted the peace of mind the heavier product offers. I plan on using to hold a 2 bike platform type carrier. It appears to hold the rack quiet securely.

Was not disclosed that this is China made. The Threads on the U-Bolts were 1/2-12...unfortunately there is no such standard thread 1/2-12 The nuts provided were standard 1/2-13. Obviously the nuts would not work on the U-Bolts. No one makes a 1/2-12 nut. Contacted the customer service number and get a phone answering service. After 5 minutres of ads I get a surly operator that could not provide any information. I e-mailed the company and finding that they are just a Chinese Junk importer, not a manufacturer, operating out of a suite in LasVegas, assumed that the only real answer was to throw the u-boltss away and make a top plate. $24.00 in materials later and 3 hours in my shop I was finally able to mount the unit to my trailer.

I use it to store my hitch on the back of my travel trailer when it is not in use. I would not use this to tow anything, but for my application it works like charm! The price is right, its made very well and my hitch fits perfectly with the hitch lock and is now out of the way as we are parked!

It came in 2-3 days. It took 5 minutes to install, and was more than strong and sturdy enough to support my bikes .

The hitch is adequate for my application as I am not using it on an RV bumper. The concern I have is the inside dimension of the tube is larger than my other hitch receivers. Attached are photos with dimensions and movement of a standard ball insert for reference. The movement was about 50% more than allowed by the one on my truck. Also, you can see a rather high weld inside the tube. I don't see this as a problem, but not typical. If used to carry a bike rack, it may allow the rack to move around and give the bicycles a rough ride.
