I should've bought them a little bigger. They do work and catch all the hair in the tub.

Catches everything from human hair to my dachshund's short hair. I will update on the longevity of this, but a month in and so far so good.Update 6/25/2020: No signs of rusting so far. Thorough cleaning needs to be done when gunk builds in between the mesh, but I have no complaints thus far.

We have an old house with old sinks and missing drain plugs. Those plugs that raise and lower with a lever bit the dust a long time ago. These little strainers work great to catch all of the yuck and keep it from clogging the pipes. I use an old toothbrush to clean them.

Works very well in the laundry room sink to keep hair and other debris from clogging the drain. The 1" inset was a little small for this application but the larger 2.75" outside ring keeps the strainer from moving around too much. So far, there's been no rust.

My new RV has very small drains in the kitchen sink. These help to keep stuff out of the grey tank.

Who knew buying a different brand of these strainers could make a person so happy? Well they do!! I think it's that they sit up a little higher so that "things" don't get stuck under the rim and clog it up under the rim. I will definitely be purchasing these again.

I know these are meant for the sink but I was using this for the shower as well and it catches everything. It just fills up quick, I like using the metal ones vs the plastic ones because I feel like they are less gross

It's a perfect sink for the average sink. Barely noticeable and allows water to go through much faster than then hard metal versions.
