British fashion has us all running about in dark coats through the winter. Great for keeping warm but a nightmare for drivers to see when you are crossing the road on those dark and rainy nights. Wearing a full hi-vis jacket is probably not an option for most - this is the next best thing. They do show up brightly when illuminated by car headlights, so do give drivers a chance to see you, which in turn makes the world just a little safer for you.

These are fab! Elasticated and have a firm velcro fastening. The only thing I would say is that I bought them (thinking they were the normal wrap around/overlap style) to wear on my wrists when cycling so cars see me when I'm signalling, but these don't go that small. Still glad I bought them though!

We ordered these bands to replace older bands which had stretched after years of use. The quality of the stretch fabric is very good with good high-vis and the 'velcro' very strong although too much of it for easy use. Unfortunately, the product is let down by shoddy assembly ('velcro' mis-aligned and untrimmed edges) so my wife will have to unpick the stitching and re-design them before we can use them!

I found the sizing information on these very unhelpful, so I ordered the smaller of the two. I'm a 160-pound, 6'1" man who cycles almost every day, and the smaller ones could barely close around my ankles (with socks and trousers), so I now wish I had ordered the larger ones. I'll wear these until the tenuous grip fails, which will probably be in a couple of months. Straight out of the package, the Velcro works great, and the material is good, so they're perfectly fine, but if you're a normal adult, you're going to want the larger size.

These are thinner than my last ankle bands being fluorescent elastic with two reflective bands so I don’t have to reverse them for night use as my old pair. But what I really like about these is the double Velcro closure so that they cannot fall off by accident. Previous ones I have had were double sided with Velcro closing the same, whichever side was used. They were not as stretchy and were loosening and becoming less reliably secured over time. Also the reflective coating had cracked a bit. Make sure you choose the correct size! 30 is fine for me over folded trouser legs

Bought as a gift. For a friend who enjoys running. To help with being seen at night. She is very pleased better than cheaper ones.
