DOOR MIRRORS MM610 Electric Heated Door Wing Mirror Drivers Side

I needed to replace the driver's mirror (another story). Obviously, the housing is 'blank' so you have to spray it the required colour. Take your time doing this. The paint and lacquer are easily obtained from various retailers.I found fitting instructions on the internet and, following these, the item was fitted in about thirty minutes. One thing I did need to buy was a T45 star tool for about £3.I also bought a passenger wing mirror. I sprayed and replaced both wing mirrors considerably cheaper than just buying one wing mirror through the dealer.

There is only one thing that overwhelmingly distinguishes this from a factory original and that is the price! Whole motorised heated tinted glass unit for less than VW's price for just the glass!If you have a need for this part, I recommend this supplier. Service was quick and I could fit it myself without much difficulty (tips available on web forums).It is supplied in black unpainted which looks fine just as it is on our black Golf. I hope not to need another one, but I would rush to them if did.

This all seemed great and fine when I installed it-fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the first small knock as I walked past with a box broke something in the thing so that it swung loose and free. I then tied the wing down in place, so that it was positioned as I wanted it, but I was then unable to move it in towards the car at all. This also meant that the next knock it had (a gentle nudge when parking) broke the whole thing, so the mirror has lasted me less than a year. I strongly recommend buying a mirror that swings both ways (in, facing the door of the car, and out, towards the bonnet of the car) without breaking.Most annoying and inferior product.

Excellent product and much better than one I purchased from another site. The glass is tinted and fits very well. Recommended.

Bought this and passenger side as one had been broken off. Got both so they would match, no problem fitting look great and work well. Delivery was next day much faster then 5 day shown.

The mirror arrived on time and as described. Definitely the best place to get replacement mirror if you have anyone to fit it.
