I was surprised by how thin they are!
These seem like a really great value! I bought them to put my band’s Spotify page on the NFC and to laser engrave our band logo and contact info on. The wood is beautiful, I got the Maple ones, the grain is very prominent, but they are sanded smooth with no sharp corners or rough spots, they have a very, very nice, smooth, clean surface. I’m putting my laser files together after I write this review with my initial thoughts. I’ll update after to see how they hold up. I haven’t laser engraved them yet, but the NFC tag worked instantly. I’ve never messed with NFC, but there is a free NFC Tools app in the App Store that I downloaded. I put my band’s Spotify address in the app, and programmed the tag. Worked like a charm on the first try, tested it on my wife’s Samsung Galaxy and it brought her right to our page. I went from a sealed package, to downloading the app and programming it in literally less than a minute after Amazon dropped it off. Now that I know they work, I’ll be buying more to hand out at shows and to put on our merch table. Things also a really neat item to include in a press packet or something like that, very new-age techy and memorable.

Do it yourself Dot
These work really well for laser engraving. I'm still working on getting a good 'color' but the engraves take well and the card still functions as it should.

Don't work well.
The item does not work well, it takes a long time to load the card and you have to keep changing the position to read the information on the card.

Classy and useful
Looks nice. Works with my pixel to turn off all of my bed lights once scanned using home automation NFC automations. Pretty handy.

Overall a good card, but has its limits.
The cards themselves are good quality so far, they burned well in a laser engraver. I was able to program each without issue and they were NTAG215 tags, not 213 tags. My only issue is how weak the tags are. You don't know where the tag is and it returns a very weak signal so many times I'm left searching around on a phone to get it to recognize it, but it usually still will.

Only 2 card works with nfc in iphone 15pro and android 3 didn’t read at all. Not going to buy it again. Cannot return as i already engraved 2 of them which one works but others are all just a piece of wood.
