Will he let her stay, or push her away!
In between careers, Felicity Shaw, decides babysitting might be her calling while she figures her life out. Just so happens, Sutton Landmark is looking for a nanny for his son Owen. Can they survive the pull they have towards each other, would they give in to their age gap or will they let it hold against them?Sutton Landmark is the oldest brother, with his siblings finding love he doesn't want to bother them with babysitting. Being a single parent and a judge can be demanding, thats where Felicity comes in to save the day. After deciding that she no longer wants to go to law school, Felicity is looking for something to go and find purpose again. When from a friend she learns that Sutton is looking for a nanny, she applies. From the first moment, they both can’t seem to look away and feel the sparks. Somewhere along the way, their lines blur and they become more.Since the start of the series, I wondered what would Sutton's and Owen's story be like. Often times, the kid gets forgotten in this trope. I really liked how much the storyline stayed with Owen as much as it did with Sutton and Felicity. It was beautiful to see the rawness of emotions from Owen as a child, really was heart wrenching at times. I think that is something not often written by authors - I am glad Willow wrote it.Felicity and Sutton had a chemistry that was sizzling. Sutton tries to do the honorable thing and stay away, but his need to be with her is stronger than anything he has ever known. He had me swooning with some of his actions, but it was so wholesome see Sutton give in one moment at a time. The siblings and the family being a constant presence was bittersweet because I knew this was an end of an era kinda thing. I loved how interwoven everything ends up being. Even though this book can be read on its own, reading the other books of the series helps make this experience so much more.I really enjoyed this book, but a part of me wishes there was more. I know that Felicity and Sutton might make a reappearance in the next series. It would be interesting to see how their lives pan out on the sidelines.Willow has a gift of writing characters that make you feel. Thank you for writing and taking us into a different world.
