Fantastic harddrive wish I could afford another 2tb but after a 5 grand build it'll have to wait

I'm impressed by the super-fast performance of this drive – it definitely offers great value for money. Although I had some reservations after reading other reviews, I decided to take the plunge and hope it stands the test of time.

Gen 5 is still relatively new however as long as you've got a Mobo that supports it and a decent heat sink as this thing kicks out some warmth - you'll be booting into the OS and swatting Noobs faster than ever before!On testing i got just under 12000Mbs read & 11650Mbs write.

Lightning quick drive, had to install board drivers doing a fresh install for the drive to be recognised, super quick and no issues

Under perform. Because installing Windows on this thing is like installing on HDD, I tested it on a different PC, moving Windows boot SSD to make room for this one, in the only one M.2 gen5 slot available, rest of them being gen 4. The results was half than advertised. I was surprised to see even these results, considering how slow was during Windows installation on previous system. Returned.

Easy to use for a luddite and really fast!

This is probably the quickest ssd on the market with a M.2 Slot (PCIe 5.0), it is definitely quicker than my Samsung 990 pro 1tb on the same m.2 slot.

Blazingly fast. However I had to get a m.2 nvme heat sink with an incorporated fan to keep it cool.
