FURTASTIC!
My dog sheds the equivalent to an entire dogs coat on the daily. As soon as I am done vacuuming, a tumbleweed of fur will appear from nowhere. I need a holster for my vacuum to be on my hip 24/7! 5 minutes of brushing my furbaby and I cannot tell you how full my garbage pail is! Even though she HATES brushing, she sat and let me brush her.The bristles retract without any problem. The button is a little loose, and I can see it probably won't last as long as I'd hope. But I'm overjoyed at how well this worked. I hesitated for far too long to buy it. Don't be like me, GET IT. Click that Add to Cart button, you won't be sorry!

Best slicker brush for your dog’s seborrheic dandruff
Perfection— just what I needed to get down deep into my short-haired dog’s coat. Works excellently for helping to manage her seborrheic dandruff without further damaging / hurting her healing skin. The easy click button releases the accumulated fur (and mass dandruff), which saves a ton of time and frustration. My only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner! While I would love for the sensitive version to come in aqua, the purple is okay, and I care more about function than I do aesthetics.

Great deshedding brush
Easy to useDidn't know my long haired cat, who honestly would rather get a bath than fully groom herself, would prefer this brush over even food or attention. It seems durable so far, easy to use and clean, and doesn't hurt your hand to hold. The cats definitely love it, and it gets their loose fur off easily. It also doesn't scratch their skin or leave red marks while brushing, and doesn't pull out fur that isn't loose either, so over brushing doesn't seem to be an issue.Even on my other long haired cat who only wants a hand to pet her or a bath, it gets tangles out easy without causing her any pain, and she tolerates it better than any other brush or comb tried, even coming to the brush and laying down. Not sure why this works so well for ornery cats, but it definitely makes it a lot easier

Love it
It's a great design. I have long-haired and short-haired cats. It takes a lot of hair off, so the cat don't have to swallow it. The bristles are sharp, as they should be. This was the only thing I saw on Amazon with auto cleaning that didn't have stupid plastic balls on the tips of the bristles. Just be careful and gentle, and your cat will thank you.

Great quality self-cleaning brush
I have a few hairballs who the vet told me are actually dogs. In the winter that's believable as they snuggle up to me to stay warm as dogs are supposed to do. In the summer, though, they are nothing but hairy, furry things that leave trails and tumbleweeds and clumps of themselves everywhere. It is for those messy creatures that I purchased this brush. It's sturdy and the bristles capture as much of the creatures as they can before the creatures wiggle away. The self-cleaning button makes it easy to remove the clumps on the bristles so I don't risk jamming a metal bristle into my fingers or under my nails (again). I love this brush. I need this brush. I think the hair creatures in my house need this brush. You should get this brush too!

Short haired pets really need the sensitive skin version!
We have a Yorkie mix and in the summer we keep his hair short since it's so hot but keep some length on his tail. When I received this we opened it up to test. The push button feature to clean the hair seems to work perfectly BUT the bristles on the standard brush are INCREDIBLY scratchy. My dog backed away a bit after running this down his back and I don't use much pressure since his hair is pretty short. I ran this down my arm and it actually hurts..a bit like little needles scraping your skin. We're going to return this and try the sensitive brush which has the coated tips on its bristles and see if that works better! Crossing our fingers because we don't really need a deshedding tool since his hair is more 'human like' and there's not really a thick undercoat. Great concept and probably perfect for thicker coats but just didn't work for our fur baby.
