From the advertising images and copy offered on the product’s page, and Amazon’s sorting of this product, as well as what is typically considered a “bolt” in most industrial applications, I (admittedly) foolishly overlooked the sizes on these, thinking they’d resemble the assorted nut and bolt sets found at hardware stores (which are much larger than these). Again: entirely a mistake of my own making, but I wanted to write this review in hopes that someone else who was recommended this nut and bolt set shopping for things like socket and wrench sets (which sets begin at a larger size than the largest of these bolts) thinking it’d include bolts with the size and length for applications like electrical (or really any other contracting) work, know that these are not that.For what they are, they’re just fine, I’d say. Some folks in these reviews like the redundant packaging—it strikes me as completely impractical if not a bit wasteful. The case is indeed quite nice (for what the product is), but for just that reason, I found the individual bagging of each kind of nut and bolt to be overkill. And, especially as I erred in ordering this (which is surely my fault, but not sure wholly unreasonable, given the advertising copy and pictures, I would say) the fact that the product is so intensive in usage of plastic baggies and redundant packaging (e.g. multiple insulated shipping envelopes), is even more striking.

These socket head cap screws are widely used in tooling and machine tools. They are not for an average home use. The screws are normally pretty expensive and they should be given their precision, special material and heat treatment. Material grade is advertised as 12.9, which is close to the top in screws. Unfortunately the box is not marked with a material grade, it just says "Alloy Steel" and " Not suitable for children under 6 years". The M5 and M4 screws are actually stamped with 12.9 grade, M3 screws are not.What are the chances the screws are of a proper grade? I would say pretty slim given they are made in China. Other than that they are pretty well made. Even their sockets are in tolerance. It is a good general set.The nuts on the other hand have the threaded hole off center and in general do not look well formed. We can only guess about their grade.Each size/length of screws and nuts is packed in individual poly bag, which helps in transportation. The box has 3 closures and a rubber seal under the lid. It is very secure, but takes too much space in my opinion.

I recently received a heater and a stand. The screws were missing, so instead of getting only the five M5 screws that I needed, I got this set. I used the M5 screws, and they worked perfectly. Now I've got a complete set of screws in case I need them in the future.

Recently got into 3D printing and quickly realized that metric screws are standard for many designs. This item comes with a variety of sizes needed and for the money it was worth it. I will probably end up buying more as my experience with printing increases. They were quick to deliver and the product is perfect. Just don't drop the case like I did because it will take forever to sort them again.

its just some bolts in a container, what they described is what they sent me, my only complaint is that there is a tray separating the bolts that is not glued to the bottom of the box, but I do like how there is 3 latches that do not get stuck like other cheaper brands.

A very great set of M3/4/5 fasteners.You get what is shown. The fasteners are just that - Allen head screws with associated nuts (5 extra nuts for each size). The storage box is even better. A nice sturdy divided plastic Plano-type box. 3 Latches keep it closed and there is even a seal around the container to seal against the lid. Looks like it will seal against spills and sprays, but not against being submerged. Not shown in the photo is that when you receive the item, each set of fasteners is packaged in its' own small Ziploc-style bag. There is even a scratch off gift card inside - And, no, it did not ask me to review the product. This review is of my own free will
