I am an martial arts instructor and I took a class in these. In the end I added one to my Keychain. I thought it would be clumsy in the pocket but this works pretty well. It also makes the Keychain fun to sling around like nunchucks when no one is looking. The included clips are good quality.

Will help in an emergency

Big, heavy, and I have to imagine would feel pretty uncomfortable if lodged into your chest or your neck or somewhere equally terrible. I gotta say, I feel a little better taking my late night walks with something kinda heavy and vaguely…well frankly I’m not even sure how to describe this. But I’ll say that while I do feel a little better, and perhaps slightly less vulnerable- now seated with the thought of actually having to use one of these things for it’s intended purpose- I’m pretty sure I’d rather toss it in someone’s face and run. The idea of being in direct contact and that up close with the kind of person I’d imagine I may have to potentially fend off with these things is practically nausea inducing. But totally, 100% feel better than without it.These make for terrible keychains though, I feel like that’s worth mentioning. Unless the key in question is for the door of a truck stop restroom, and then by all means, this is one you’re looking for, hoss.

Wow, these are impressive! I love the fact that these came in a set of 2, so that my daughter and I can both carry one of these on us. These are no joke at all...they are very heavy duty, strong and would very much be a great defensive item if the need for it ever arose. I like that these come in a keychain which makes them easily accessible and easy to carry when walking around, especially in a parking lot or anywhere, really. I like that these can be used non-lethally and that they will give a stern warning to anyone, because most people would not like the idea of having a slim, solid item like this pressed into an area of their body. These get 5 out of 5 stars and I highly recommend them!
