The Lady and the Unicorn (Smell) is one of a series of six tapestries woven at the end of the fifteenth century in Paris, France. This particular tapestry depicts the sense of smell, as shown by the lady and her wreath of flowers, while the monkey in the background smells a stolen flower.

Beautiful and cost effective tapestry
It looks terrific, a cost effective solution for a large area of wall; we couldn't find an oil painting on the vertical that we liked and fit between our sconces and certainly didn't want a poster. The colors are rich and warm, not brassy, the European element is perfect, very pleased with the condition, ship time and final look. Many compliments on this tapestry.
