I bought two of these for my tonneau cover. I agree with a previous review. These are too short to work on 3/4" thick door material! I had to reduce the thickness of material with chisel (total PITA) to make it work. But it gets worse. The included keys do not slide in easily, on the contrary it is quite difficult to get the keys in and out of the key slot. Additionally, one of the cylinders is not staying in locked position after I take the key out. If I lift on the tonneau cover the lock cam just spins out of the way. Must be defective or the pins are sticking inside the cylinder in the open position allowing it to rotate without the key inserted. I'm bummed the quality seems so poor on these. Maybe the distributor will send replacement keyed alike cylinders but I do not know how to contact them.

Great quality lock. I bought another brand originally and was disappointed in the quality. This one feels well built, turns fluidly and even includes a gasket for sealing against the mounting surface.Tgis 5/8” length works well to replace the thumb latch on a modern Airstream battery door. This doesn’t include a flat/straight cam lever though (comes with a couple different offset ones). I reused the one from my thumb latch.

Used to replace the locks on a truck toolbox I refurbished. This is the only "weatherproof" cam lock set I could find.Package comes with several different lock bars, see attached image. If anything is wrong with these locks it's that they feel too loose - the key turns with hardly any resistance. But that's normal for cam locks. Also, don't know how they'll actually hold up to the weather, but first impressions are good.

Well constructed, smooth lock, however, most cabinet doors are 5/8ths or 3/4 inches thick. These are too short and do not allow enough threads to protrude through the door to screw on the nut, rendering the lock useless as a cabinet lock.

These are non-standard so you may have to modify to get to work. Now after only two months I find the trim rings ate not stainless and are rusty. Even though they have shutters do not expose to the elements!

Overall works well, The threads don't go as far down the shaft as the original locks (both are the 7/8") so the fit is a little tighter, but it still worked fine.
