Two traditional digestive suppoet ingredients from a trusted company
Mention stomach upset and many people in the know will immediately mention the benefits of ginger as well as the power of tumeric. Turmeric especially does have a somewhat strong scent as anyone who is familiar with Indian cooking well knows. The orange color is also a potent staining agent if handled or spilled. I love the combination of these two powerful agents and can strongly recommend their efficacy. Recommended.

Quality & Trusted Supplement Brand
I have been taking a couple of supplements made by Gaia for nearly a decade, and as a longtime customer, have come to trust that this brand produces high quality products that are lab tested for quality and purity. I have deducted one star, however, because Gaia does not use independent, third party lab testing except on an "as needed" basis. As someone with gut issues and frequent nausea, I jumped at the opportunity to try this product. The odor and taste of the capsules are a little unappealing, but I just hold my breath and down them quickly with juice, and that solves the problem. Thankfully, the taste doesn't linger. I've been taking them on and off as needed for the past month and although I can't say I've noticed a big improvement in my nausea or GI health, I haven't noticed any adverse effects either. Perhaps it's too soon to tell, or maybe I need to take them daily to see a difference.

Good Product
Not much to say... Do they work? I feel like they are. I don't have any issues with after taste and Gaia Herbs is a good brand.

Another reliable Gaia product
Gaia Herbs Ginger-Turmeric Postbiotic - Premium Digestive Support Supplement for Gut Health - Made with Fermented Turmeric & Ginger - Free from Dairy, Soy & Gluten - 60 Vegan Capsules (30 Servings) Gaia is a trusted and reliable name in the supplement industry and tried these for the digestive and joint benefits. Capsules were in their product box then double sealed in the bottle and expiration dated over two years from receipt. The dose is 2 capsules per day with a full glass of water. The capsules are easy to swallow, have a distinctive odor from the ingredients, have no taste or aftertaste. I have taken a similar product and believe these are contributing to relief. I was excited to see the third party testing to verify the batch number on the label. I visited the website, entered the batch code and no test results were found for this batch. The website said since not found gave me results for a similar product so deducted a star. If you are in the market for this type of supplement recommend this brand for safety and results.*Please consult your healthcare professional to answer specific questions you may have on taking any supplements as my review is a personal opinion and not medical advice for your specific health status.

Appears to be a good source of Ginger Turmeric
This supplement appears to be supportive for digestion per label. The main ingredient is reported as organic Turmeric and Ginger Sauerkrout juice concentrate extract -- the extract is 1.2 g but it doesn't break down how much of that is Ginger, Turmeric or Sauerkrout. The label indicates this is a "postbiotic" supplement and the box indicates it is non GMO verified and that Gaia Herbs is a "certified B corporation". Also, a "meet your herbs" id and website is provided for tracking the ingredients of the product. All that sounds good but when I went to the web site and entered the tracking number from the product the response was "your search returned no results". So not sure what to make of that. It seems like if a company is going to offer a tracking feature they should make sure it works.

Cures my tummy upsets quickly
I'm a gaia fan, as well as a ginger and turmeric fan, so I thought I'd try this. Ginger is my go-to whenever I have an upset stomach, and so it is with this. This works quickly and has the added benefit of fermented turmeric. It does have kind of a garlicky taste, but that comes from the fermented component which is sauerkraut, so it may be more of a sour taste than garlic. This works well for me so I will likely stick with it. Ginger in general works so well for me that I have not taken anything else for an upset stomach in possibly decades by now.

Stinky pills. Hold your nose.
These have got to be the most stinkiest pills I have ever taken. The smell and taste is gag worthy. Even holding your nose and downing the pills, you can still taste the nastiness of the pills. Then when you burp, it could be hours later, you can taste the nastiness. These are not for me and I quit taking them after the second day, so I'm not sure if they would actually work or not.GAIA is a well trusted brand though.Good luck to you.

Strong Smell
I don't like most fermented foods besides yogurt and kefir. I definitely don't like sauerkraut. However, I'm able to stomach these. They don't smell good in my opinion but they're still easy enough to take. I would like it if the exact amount of ginger and turmeric was listed in the ingredients instead of them being listed as one combined weight. Other than that, this is a brand that I've used over the years and never had an issue with.
