I loved this seasoning. I usually make my Paella by scratch, but no need for those expensive Saffron threads and gathering up all the rest of the spices because this has the perfect blended amount of everything you need. It took half the amount of time and stress by using just a few shakes of this seasoning. My guests loved it. It was also good on a chicken or fish dish. GREAT PURCHASE.

I've made paella exactly once in my life prior to getting this, so I'm hardly an authority on how paella is supposed to taste. That said, this is a nice, well-balanced seasoning mix that provides good flavor and you get a huge amount of it in this canister. No complaints here.

The seller responded quickly via the Amazon messaging system but only repeated the serving size. I attempted to obtain the information from the producer but no response despite their messaging form stating that they will respond within 48 hours and it has been over double that time.This is a pretty large jug of spice mix. Unopened it had a very pleasant fragrance.I guessed and used 1 teaspoon for a cup of rice (uncooked).Paella should be prepared using Spanish rice which is also known as bomba rice. This is a white, short-grained rice that absorbs more water than normal. Please do not confuse this with boxed rice and spice mixes typically called “Spanish rice.” Bomba rice typically requires 3 cups of water per 1 cup of uncooked rice.I had to use rice that I had on-hand as I was unwilling to make a special trip to buy a 2-pound bag of bomba rice when I was just going to start with a cup of uncooked rice. I may try this again in the not so distant future.This didn’t not come out as well as hoped but not being able to use the correct rice probably contributed to this plus not knowing how much of the seasoning to add.EDIT: Shortly after this review was published, I received follow up from the seller followed minutes later by a belated response from the manufacturer. They suggested starting with 2 teaspoons of this spice mix per cup of rice.I tried making paella using a recipe that I found on NinjaTestKitchen named chicken and chorizo paella. I did not include any of their spices as I used this spice blend instead and 2 teaspoons per cup of rice (uncooked). I also used bomba rice. If you use that recipe add more broth than the recipe calls for as I found some sticking and starting to burn in my Ninja appliance. This came out pretty well although I probably will tweak the amount of spice used next time and add a little moreNow that I have the missing information I am adjusting my rating.

This is a nice big jar of seasoning that will come in handy whether or not you're cooking paella. The aroma of the saffron meets you the moment you open the jar. In the mix, the sugar, salt, onion, and saffron are very forward and discernible. I'm totally satisfied with this.

Makes amazing chicken and rice, with a bit of pop. Usually, I just cook plain white rice and chicken and this new spice has been a godsend. Very easy to incorporate in the the dish. You get 1.3 pounds of it, so this should last you a looooooong time. Overall, I am very pleased and feel like this is going much better than anything you can buy at your local grocery store.

Really nice, big container of the Spanish spice blend. Tasty and unique, this is great with pork.

This paella seasoning is fragrant and full of flavor. Perfect marriage with Spanish rice. It doesn't indicate how much to use so I guesstimated a ratio of 1 teaspoon to 1 cup rice. Saffron is usually added as a seasoning but this already contains saffron. Another way I use this seasoning is to rub on meat. The flavor is stupendous. Overall, this 1.3 lb container of paella seasoning is a high 4. Expiration Mar 2026.

This is lacking something straight out of the jar and let me tell you.. it's something we all have in our spice cabinet.. SALTThe flavor itself is okay.. it's not something I would order again. It's a large container of seasoning but it's not a seasoning I find myself reaching for really at all.Wouldn't recommend
