Absolutely fantastic piece of kit slightly on the bulky side and if weight is an issue can get lighter alternatives but this filter is in my opinion the best on the market easy to clean and water after filtered is crystal clear

Used on a bikepacking trip in Scottish highlands, very easy to use, throughput of water is great and the confidence it gives in the water quality is very re-assuring, even though Scottish mountain water is very good you just never know what has died up stream.

I bought this kit to be able to purify clean or cleanish water. I have used it on my local tapwater in East of England - result is that water is visibly clearer and better tasting to me . Fresh rainwater harvested on a clean plastic sheet has a similar result . I use it in house and car and so it is light enough for my purposes and comes with its own storage bag. Seems easy to pump and has bottle adaptors .

Excellent filter - compact, light weight and easy to use. Saves carrying a lot of water.

used it in the rivers of dartmoor where the river was brown clear coloured. worked once on the trip until the filter needed changing/intense cleaning however it did not buy spares thinking it would last the whole trip. its good and small however if you are on a “fast hike” it would be a pain to clean the filters or change out however when the water was being filtered it filters very well. i would give it 6/10 “ok” i would say the product would need to be more rugged and longer lasting filters. If you are filtering water that is filled with minerals (like in dartmoor) I would say this is not the best product

Unfortuately the filter arrived faulty, the plastic construction around the filter screw is warped and cannot create a seal to keep water in. having to return as its not fit for purpose. I may try again and update my review but as for now I cant use something designed to filter water if it leaks.

This is just brilliant and a must for any hikers or wild campers.
