I take showers regularly but still if I don't use deo I feel unclean after a while. I avoid using sprays, aluminumsomething and silversomthingelse things for my health. That really narrows choices. I was using lume but suddenly their products started not working. I was in need of a deo.I somehow came across with this item on Amazon. It works great and feels ok. The deo stick is extremely soft so it isn't practical to use it as it is intended to be used. I take some of it on my finger and spread it like cream.Good deo, I will keep buying. Recommended to give it a try if you are in need of a deo.

This is not as bad as I was expecting. I've been an old spice guy for a long time. I am trying to stop using so many artificial products and decided deodorant would be something I can start with. This is a nice wood scent and lasts long enough for my office job that it's totally fine. If you are a more active person you may want to consider keeping one with you to reapply. The texture takes some getting used to as it looks and feels like you are rubbing one of those rock salt lamps on your armpits. It's not left anything on my clothes so far and I've had no allergic reaction to it. I also think that in general, I smell better even when not using it (maybe the lack of chemicals?)

The product works well without an overpowering scent. It smells okay when you put it on but its not likely to clash with any cologne or oils you might use. The texture initially feels dry and a little gritty the first time you use this, however, you MUST be careful. This texture will make you think you need to put some pressure on to apply it- I originally thought this would be a one time buy because it would be tough to apply but really it is VERY soft once you rub it.Apply a very small amount in a short and low pressure line and you're good to go. If you use this like its some other store-bought brand solid you'll apply way too much. After a full day of buttoned shirt and t-shirt combo and I was pretty comfortable. No smell, no wetness, no guilt. No kidding. Good stuff if you keep the above in mind.

I was using regular antiperspirant deodorant without any issues; but, decided it might be healthier to use a “natural” deodorant. Plus I love lavender. So American Provenance seemed like an excellent option. I used the AP lavender deodorant for approximately 2 weeks before waking up one morning with welts and blisters under both armpits. Initially I didn’t believe it was the deodorant but I also didn’t have any other explanation. I couldn’t use AP while my armpits were inflamed; so, when the welts healed (a week of no deodorant) I started using AP again. Within 2 days, the welts and blisters returned! Stopped again, healed, tried one more time…welts with blisters returned immediately! I gave the 2 other new AP deodorant to my daughter; knowing my reaction, she rolled it on her wrist first. She said her wrist turned pink and she could feel an irritating burn. So, buy with caution. I don’t have allergies or “sensitive” skin; yet, this product clearly caused a very unpleasant reaction. I’m back to regular antiperspirant!

The scent is pleasant, genuine, earthy, spicy, and long lasting.Quality natural ingredients are a good alternative to mass market name brand alternatives, and it seems to do it's job all day (for light duty office work atleast, and this may also be due to the large amount that has to be applied during each application - see below).The one issue I may have by comparison to other brands, is the slightly largely gritted texture, as well as the viscosity and somewhat tacky/sticky nature (not slippery or smooth to apply).While it seems to be like other dry white solid sticks, it is somewhat pasty/sticky, and sticks (vs gliding on smoothly) to the skin when trying to apply it. Because of this, it takes some effort to apply thoroughly, and when applied, a lot is used/left on the skin for every swipe - especially vs other brands that 'glide' on much more smoothly and have a finer texture and are either drier or wetter, making for smoother and easier application, as well as not using as much product per application).For this reason, I feel that that the stick will not last for very many uses. In my experience thus far, it seems to use roughly 1/8"+ per application, so my estimate would be that one stick of this deodorant would last about 3 weeks of daily use at the most.If the above issues don't bother you and you just want something that is quality, naturally based, and has lasting good smelling natural scents, then this brand may be a good pick for you.I'm overall satisfied in every aspect other than those mentioned above.Personally I won't likely continue to purchase again, due to the cost of having to purchase these more frequently when the run out quicker vs other brands of similar size and price.
