I have been using these around my property as I plant flowers and my vegetable gardens in planters now instead of dealing with vegetable beds! I like them - good looking sturdy and nice variation in sizes for landscape texture

These are great looking wooden planters. They are quite sturdy and the handles are sturdy also. I have not put flowers in them yet, that is coming up soon, but they are full of dirt and ready to go. I have moved them around several times as I was not sure where I wanted to put them and they have held up really well. I would definitely recommend these planters. They are great!

Local stores were selling ones made of plastic and painted to look like barrels for over $20 each, so I know I was getting a bargain when I saw these ones made of real wood and metal! Firstly, the shipping was on the fast end of the shipping window Amazon quoted me, so well done there. I think they arrived the day before the earliest day they gave me (via USPS, I think). Then when I opened the box, the delightful smell of wood came at me. These things are a sensory delight, they smell nicely of wood, and look amazing on the eyes. They were packed tight and snug in the box with foam wrapping between all 3 so they do not bash together. I filled them up instantly. Thankfully the small Ann Magnolia I ordered on Amazon also arrived at the same time as luck would have it, and looks gorgeous in the biggest one. I might have to buy more of these. They would make a superb gift for other garden-lovers.Update: 2019. It may be a co-incidence but the things I planted in the 3 planters all died. The Ann magnolia began coming back to life in spring, made a few leaves then suddenly died. The rosebush never came back to life at all, and the small starter redbud tree also never came back to life (and it is now July - I waited in high hopes). I did not use a liner in these so wonder if they are treated with any chemicals that might have leached into the soil to kill the plants? Just as an FYI. Perhaps it was the soil I used but they were all growing along fine until fall 2018 when they went dormant as they should have done. Regardless, I wont change my review thus far as I am not 100% sure yet. I would still recommend them for annuals, for sure. But I would be hesitant to do so for perennials at the minute. They are still pretty.

I love the way these are made. I love the way they look and the quality. The only thing that bothers me is when the plants are watered the stain runs off them and onto our painted patio. I hope in tome this subsides.

We have used these pots for planting tomatoes, errs, just about everything for our garden. They work wonderfully. We have purchased them twice and will probably get them again.
