Fortnum & Mason Tea, Christmas Tea Lover's Advent Calender

I bought this for my wife leading up to Christmas and she has absolutely enjoyed it. Each tea bag is sealed in its own little compartment and you open it up each day of the month of December. There's a description on the back of each of the t's but they do not indicate which date the teas are associated with. This adds to the allure of surprise. You open each date to reveal the tea for that day then you turn it on the back and can read about that tea

We have used the The Advent Calendar for a number of years. It is fun, delicious, and we learn about teas.

The box that was displaying the teas arrived damaged. The box was torn in a couple of places and there were scuff marks. It also looked as if had been crushed on one side. Looking as it did, I could not give it as a gift. I tried to return it but was told it was not returnable. This item cost $57.23. I would like a refund as this was not my error and that is a lot of money.

The teas themselves were very nice and it was a fun way to try new flavors that I wouldn’t have thought of or wanted to buy a full box of. However, the box is low quality (not as display worthy as I had hoped) , and many of my tea satchels had rips in them.It would be a great gift if it was about $30, but the full price is way too much for such low quality packaging. I wish I had waited until it went on sale.

While the calendar was beautiful, it was shipped in a mailing bag and was crushed. Since I am unable to return it, hopefully this review will help future buyers if the company ships it in a box moving forward.

Gave as a gift to my mother so I can’t write a personal review. She loved it though and it arrived on time so I give it 4 stars.

Would have loved this if it wasn’t for the black licorice which was in quite a few of the different tea varieties. Will probably check it out next year and see but there better be less licorice.

They only ship it after its scheduled arrival date and the quality is subpar
