It Works and Smells Great!
Works amazingly, smells great.I shook up the bottle and poured about 4oz into a bowl. That was enough to treat 5 kittens. I rubbed it in and combed it through and the fleas were dead on contact. It smelled amazing and not a single one of them had a reaction. It dried quickly and they had significantly fewer fleas.I also used it to treat my rug and living room couch. After 2 applications, I vacuumed and had 0 live fleas. I sprayed the area around the litter box as well.I love that this is a natural product that works exactly as described and it's affordable.

Works after several applications
smells good, not chemical but likely will take several applications for eliminate fleas. I used a topical flea medicine on the cats, but used this on bedding, carpets, furniture. Vacuum a lot after the application dries.

I Love It!!
I'm going to have to keep this stuff on hand. It's great. My cat is so fidgety. She just does not sit still to let me run a flea comb on her and she gets fleas really bad in her head and ear area to the point that she gets scratch marks behind her ears. Well, this stuff I sprayed it on her neck and ear area carefully and it lathers up which I like. I looked at her neck area and it killed about 8-10 fleas in that area. I didn't even realize she had that many. After spraying her down I could tell they were jumping off her so I had to act fast to pinch them and put them underwater but I havent had a flea spray do that. I bought her Advantix for cats. The green spray can and lord the smell is just so strong so I definitely feel good about this purchase. She smells good and and it will definitely help her get some relief while we wait for her topical treatment to arrive.Oh yeah and my dog too. I bought him a spray too. His spray was the same brand but Peppermint scented and I have seen him scratch only once since I sprayed him down. It's nice to see him calm and not frustrated by the fleas. That poor dog was going crazy.Yes, I absolutely recommend this. Dont know how long it lasts but it gave them immediate relief for sure. Definitely worth it.

Strong smell, but effective product
My cats absolutely hate the smell of this and I'm not a fan either, the smell of clove is very strong and my cats clear the room when I use it and won't touch anything I sprayed it on for days afterwards. That's probably not the worst thing considering this has ingredients like peppermint oil which can be toxic to cats if ingested, through skin contact, and inhalation. However, it is effective at killing fleas throughout the home and can be sprayed on most surfaces without damage. My indoor cats kept getting fleas despite receiving monthly flea prevention treatments and I was very frustrated and getting desperate as to how to get rid of them. I washed everything I could, vacuumed all surfaces, and got rid of a bunch of cat items I thought might be harboring the disgusting parasites and still there was fleas on my cats and in my home I just couldn't get rid of. I didn't want to use harsh chemicals like flea bombs contain since I have several pets and I worry about residual exposure, but I was almost at the point of doing just that. I was pleasantly surprised when this product put an end to our flea issues and was very easy to use, I simply sprayed all surfaces in each room allowing them to fully dry and air out afterwards (while keeping the cats out of the sprayed area) and either vacuumed or wiped down the surfaces after they fully dried. The price of this product is very reasonable, especially compared to what it would have cost to flea bomb entire house or hire exterminator.

This stuff works!!
This really works. I haven’t used it yet on my cats, but I saw another product that advertises the same thing. Kills on contact. I was going to purchase that too in case this didn’t work, but I decided to test this first. I got a flea and put it in a cup and sprayed it. It was dead within 10 seconds.

"Cotton" version Nearly WORTHLESS
I've used the 'original' "Peppermint" formula of 'Flea & Tick Home Spray for Cats' for 4 years with Great Success -- as a pre-walk spray for our dog, is was TRULY effective against the fleas & ticks which squirrels & other wildlife constantly 'foster' where we walk & in our yard -- which kept our four Indoor-ONLY cats flea-free. That "Peppermint & Spice" version combines(ed?) peppermint oil & eugenol - a concentrate of clove oil - to make a product which Repelled most fleas & ticks from 'hopping-onto' our dog - and Killed the few that did.Pricey in anything but the Refill size, I'd top-up several bottles kept at every door (to spritz our dog before- & after 'nature calls' in the back yard), in the kitchen to kill fruitflies - and outdoors to kill ants. The 96-oz "Peppermint" refill wasn't available when I needed to top-up those sprayers so I ordered the "Cotton [Flower] & Spice" Cat & Home - Trusting Vet's Best that it was Equally Effective against fleas. It IS NOT.My first top-ups added the new "Cotton" ver to varying remnants of the Trustworthy "Peppermint" in those sprayers, and all SEEMED well...but Everything went down-hill after the 2nd round of refills - I'd later realize that as the % of "Cotton" ver in the bottle increased, the flea-repell/kill properties PLUMMETED; for the first time since 'discovering' Vets Best, all four cats exhibited mild- & worsening flea Infestations - so bad on one cat that he was Anemic in a 'Senior' blood test. And the fleas Kept ATTACKING even though I sprayed Vets Best (now 100% 'Cotton' ver.) on every critter bed & carpeted floor.Worst of ALL, fleas were Targeting my Wife - who reacts strongly to their bites.Comparing ads & ingredient lists on both versions, I made the connection - finding that Vets Best was actually TOUTING the ABSENCE of Peppermint oil - and listing mere 'Clove OIL' (NOT Eugenol) in their "New & WORTHLESS" version. But by then, I'd nearly emptied the jug and doubted they'd REFUND on a 'used-up' product. We had to shell-out a $$Thousand+$$ for repeated treatments of the cats with REVOLUTION - and the Little Blood-Suckers are STILL an issue. Now I can't TRUST Vets Best to NOT FUBAR their products.
