A Brew Worth Buzzing About
Diving into the world of whole bean coffees, I recently had the pleasure of sipping on Kaffe's Medium Roast Whole Bean Coffee. This 12 oz bag of 100% Arabica beans promised an intriguing blend of cocoa, brown sugar, and walnut hints, and it did not disappoint. Right from the get-go, the rich aroma that wafted out upon opening the bag was a prelude to the delightful experience to come. The beans were perfect for grinding at home, offering that fresh, barista-style coffee right in my kitchen. The flavor profile was nothing short of impressive. It’s a testament to the coffee's quality that it can be enjoyed black, without the need for milk or sugar to mask any bitterness, because frankly, there wasn't any bitterness to speak of. Each sip was smooth and rich, a comforting embrace at any time of the day. I've shared it with guests, all of whom echoed my sentiments, finding it equally enjoyable. Moreover, this coffee is a steal for the quality it delivers. Not just another generic option, its taste complexities make it a standout choice for both casual coffee drinkers and connoisseurs alike. Very pleasant, smooth coffee, with no bitter taste
Reviewing: Kaffe Medium Roast Whole Bean Coffee, Coffee Beans with hints of Coco, Brown Sugar, Walnuts,100% Arabica Coffee Beans Whole, 12 oz:I drink a lot of coffee (but usually ground), so I was excited to try this one, and even went out and bought a coffee grinder so that I’d be able to grind the beans and use this with my coffee filters. This is a 12 oz bag of coffee beans; slightly larger than average. As soon as I cut open the top of the bag (my tearing attempt was unsuccessful), I appreciated the warm, rich smell of this coffee. The beans were all whole, and grinding them 2.5 oz at a time for about 13 seconds was right for my needs. This coffee is actually really nice! I was concerned when I read the description that it was going to have other ingredients added to it, but no, it’s just the beans. They have a rich flavor; this is not your average cheap office/church coffee. It tastes smooth, rich, and absolutely not bitter at all. Very pleasant, and I’ve been drinking it black, with no added milk, creamer or sugar. I’ve served it to guests this week, and everyone liked it. It’s a very easy-to-drink, everyday coffee that I would definitely order again.

Rich aromatic dark roast coffee
This whole bean coffee is 100% arabica from Columbia. A lot of coffee blends now are using the harsher tasting robusta coffee. Since this one is all arabica, you get that smooth, non-bitter brew with that rich aroma that you're probably used to. I opened this up and a wave of deep coffee aroma just hit me. Brewing it was easy, and I like my coffee really strong. This coffee mixed well with heavy cream and it was just delicious. I could drink it all day.

Good whole bean coffee with smooth taste and no bitterness
So this coffee was better than expected. I mean, who knows what you're going to get with a no name brand; right? I usually prefer Peets brand and this coffee compares favorably. The price point is similar at ~ $16/ lb. I would purchase again from this brand.

Surprisingly good.
I've been roasting my own coffee beans for a while now, but I also buy it occasionally, usually from a local roaster. It keeps me honest and gives me a baseline to compare to when I'm doing my own roasts. It's on the expensive side though - similar in price to this bag, but the local coffee is only 10 oz instead of 12. There's no hint as to the origin of this coffee on the bag, so I assume it's a blend. No problem, blends can be great when they're balanced.I was ready to dislike this coffee, mainly because it's rare that I find a coffee I like on Amazon, but it's actually quite good. Probably just a touch darker in flavor than what I roast myself, but it's well within the range of what I enjoy. The roast flavor is not so strong that it overpowers the flavors inherent in the bean.

Strong roast
This dark roast coffee is nice and robust and has an interesting chocolate note to it. I drink all my coffee with cream anyway, but for those who do not this might be a little bitter. WIth cream or sugar though, it tastes really good!

Not bitter!
I selected these Kaffe organic medium roast coffee beans for my family. I do not drink coffee, so I am relying on their feedback. All of them usually add creamers or flavors to their coffee. When asked to sip it black, they report that there is no bitterness and it is great quality coffee. Freshly ground beans make a difference! Being organically grown is a big plus for us.
