Tastes as good as real sugar - no weird after taste
I really like this and use it with my express and coffee. No weird after taste. I would never have tried it, but a friend encouraged me to try it and I really like it! So glad it is an alternative to sugar that actually tastes good and does the job. I have way too much sugar in my diet and this help!!

An Erythritol sweetener I can use sparingly
With enough use, you eventually figure out how tolerant your stomach/system is for "sugar alcohol" sweeteners like erythritol and other "-itol" varieties. For me, the answer is "not very, but still okay in moderation", and that's the perfect way to use Lakanto's "Monk Fruit" sweetener. In moderation. The Flavor:For as amazing a job as just a little bit of this sweetener does to boost the flavor of a tea or cut through the bitterness of a cup of joe, it does leave behind an aftertaste of its own, which is more noticeable depending on how much of a packet you use per 8-12 ounces of beverage. For me, I'll typically use a third or half a packet per drink, and in the case of coffee I didn't even notice the aftertaste when used at that ratio. In tea, it was another story though as there's a little less competing flavor and so more of the sweetener's aftertaste came through, Luckily, I'm not a big fan of using sugar in tea (I opt for honey), so this was primarily a coffee sweetener for me, so minimal aftertaste encounters. The Value:Like I mentioned, I used this stuff quite sparingly due to my sensitivity for it and because a little bit of this stuff goes a LONG way in cutting through the acidity of a coffee. So for me, this box lasts months instead of days or weeks. If you're someone who uses this stuff like it's a basic little packet of normal sugar, then you are going to burn through this little box very quickly and this box will not be a good value for you. But if you're like me and each packet can boost 1-3 cups of whatever you're drinking, the value here is spot on. On one hand I wish they'd package the sugar into smaller portions, but that would mean more wrappers and waste, so for now I'm content with just being careful and using a single packet a little bit at a time and storing it somewhere it won't spill in between cups of coffee. But if you're a multi-packet per drink user, value-wise this may not be a great fit.
