No problem if you are a beginner, here are a few tips to help you get started. How to shake like a professional bartender : - take the smaller tin of the boston shaker and fill it with ice - add the ingredients over the ice - place the bigger tin on top of the other one so that one side is flush - tap the top with moderate force sealing the two tins together - hold the two tins so they don't slip apart and face the open end of the shaker tin away from your guests - shake well for about 10-15 seconds - break the seal by tapping your palm on the rim of the bigger tin where it meets the small tin - strain the content into a cocktail glass by narrowly separating the tins apart creating a small gap for alcohol to flow through or by using a hawthorne strainer - enjoy the drink

My thoughts after using for almost a year
I've had this shaker set for almost a year. It's been through hell and back. That's for sure. It has held up through easily hundreds of drinks, multiple runs through the washing machine, and many many private and house parties. It's inexpensive, durable, and works as it should. The only thing that someone might have an issue with, is how cold the tins get when you shake with ice. But 99.9999990% of the time you wont even feel it. If you do then you need to toughen up snowflake. 10/10 If I was a bar manager, my entire staff would use these.

Quality shaker for consistent results
This is a solid, well-built shaker that is easy to use and clean. The walls are thick enough to withstand shaking with ice or friends knocking them down, while being flexible enough to quickly seal and unseal. Do note that company's logo is on the side of the large cup and bottom of the small cup, but this should only matter to you if you have a business and want your own logo on everything or if a friend is asking what shaker to buy.

Good Weight and Balance Easy to Break Seal.
This shaker has good weight and balance, the top fits securely so your drink stays in the tin and it is easy to break the seal. Excellent quality. Definitely recommend.

The perfect cocktail shaker!
Great cocktail shaker! We’ve used many different styles and brands of shakers but this is our favorite. It’s easy to use and feels good in your hands. With some previous shakers, the top is hard to get off; however, that is not an issue with this one. Great quality and easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Very professional feel and look
