Who Was Coretta Scott King?

I love this series! I use them in my classroom for a living museum/biography unit and the books provide all the necessary information. The text is written in a child friendly format that keeps their interest.

Poorly arranged. Difficult for students to read if looking for information specific to Scott-King. Too much historical background information (albeit interesting) about the times which interrupts chronological facts about Scott-King. I purchased this for middle school, but found that weaker students were distracted by the additional information which could have been offered as foot notes or in a separate section.

I think this is a fun book and it’s what I keep as one of my favorite black history book collection.
