Excellent product to keep your clothes looking sharp!
I endorse this product. I have used it for two days to iron shirts, shorts, pants and even a dish towel (for practice). I also have a full size Rowenta Pro Style floor standing steamer and a conventional high end Rowenta iron. Compared to a conventional iron, the Pure Force hand held is much faster to use for anything with detail, such as shirts and pants. It takes me about 90 seconds to de-wrinkle a shirt with the Pure Force unit versus 5 minutes with a conventional iron. It heats up almost instantly, so it's practical to use it for just a single garment and then put it away. The Pure Force is also easier on your clothes especially if they have delicate fabric. However, a conventional iron does leave clothes a more "pressed" look. A conventional iron is also better if you like that creased look for your pants. I so zero advantage to the floor steamer. The hand held one is simply much better. One other comment. I saw a reviewer remark that the Pure Force is tiring to use, especially since the person reported that she had to squeeze the trigger the entire time she was steaming her laundry. This isn't true. The unit has a simple way to keep the steam on without constantly squeezing the trigger. Also, I did not find the unit to be overly heavy even when steaming a number of shirts. However, if you do find it heavy, use it horizontally on an ironing board, as you would for a conventional iron. It works great and still removes wrinkles very fast.

Fast, sturdy, gets wrinkles OUT
This gets wrinkles out quickly with a single pass. The larger plate captures quite a bit of fabric at once so the job goes quickly. It’s on the cusp of not being travel sized; I packed it comfortably into my large suitcase but it doesn’t tuck into my carry-on well (it takes up too much valuable space). Its sturdiness gives it a sense of being industrial. It’s hefty and might be too difficult to hold for someone who has a weaker grasp and arm/shoulder strength. Personally, I like the heftiness as it feels high quality.

Built like a tank!
This baby is easily the “Cadillac” of garment steamers, and I haven’t even used it on an actual garment yet! I purchased it because I’m swapping out all the Stone Age window treatments in my house for newer, better looking drapery, and nothing arrives more wrinkled in the mail than curtains/drapes that have made the trip on a slow boat from China. Typical Rowenta quality, well made and fairly heavy (2.95 lbs), despite being described as “lightweight” by the manufacturer. At 1,875 watts, it heats up within seconds, and has several heat settings: low, medium, high, super high, and boost, with super high being most effective on those wrinkled drapes from China. It works horizontally as well, so would make an excellent “2 for the price of 1” appliance; you really wouldn’t necessarily need a regular clothes iron if you don’t do that much ironing, but if you do, I’d recommend the next model up, which includes a microfiber attachment intended to capture lint and hair while you’re ironing your garments. Easy to use straight out of the box, no setup or assembly needed. Just add water to the reservoir and plug it in. Decent value as well, generally about what other manufacturers are charging for a garment steamer of similar quality and capability. Considerations: it does take up a little real estate at 11.8” L x 8.66” W x 6.69” H; and the water reservoir is a measly 7.1 oz., which gets used up pretty quickly when you’re steaming 7’ H x 52” W drapery. A big plus is the 8.5’ cord, which is especially handy in a Stone Age house with electrical outlets few and far between. Highly recommended!

So much easier than using an iron.
The good: it heats up very quickly, and can deliver a huge amount of steam on its highest setting. I can hang a row of shirts on a laundry rack and run through them all in a very short time. Since it is so quick and easy, I'm more willing to use it, so my wardrobe overall looks much better these days. Steaming is much more effective than ironing for soft, draping fabrics--casual shirts, for example--that would not look right if flattened by a traditional iron. Since it works horizontally as well as vertically it is the best of both worlds--I can steam a pair of slacks upright to quickly de-wrinkle, then lay them out and press in a quick crease on the legs. The not-so-hot considerations for me? the water tank is a bit small if I'm steaming a lot of items at once. Removing the tank to refill is a little awkward, and requires caution when the steam vent is still hot. My other negative, strictly a personal opinion, is that the unit can feel heavy when doing a lot of steaming at one time. My go-to now is to double click the trigger so that the unit delivers constant steam, then I can use both hands to control the steamer and manipulate the clothes I'm steaming at the same time. Ironically if the water tank were larger the weight would be heavier, so there's no perfect solution for me. In summary I would absolutely buy this again.

Awesome steamer!
Best results of any steamer I have ever used. Yes, it's a little heavier but it does the job so fast!

Works well for clothes with less cotton. Water reservoir is smaller than you'd expect
Water reservoir is just big enough to treat one dress shirt thorougly. Heats up quick, good powered steam, and relatively easy to use. For cotton use, don't expect this one working like a regular iron... you'll still see fine wrinkles.

The best steamer!
This steamer is amazing! I had a cheaper one for a few years, it would spit and leave water spots, it finally quite literally blew up so I needed a new one. I decided to spend a bit more money and I am just amazed at the difference! This steamer has multiple settings and I normally use the medium which works fine for most things. It heats up fast, and has a really big steamer plate that steams a larger area safely. It steamed so nicely and quickly, it only takes one pass with this one whereas before I had to go over and over areas to get them flattened. I am only taking off one star because it is quite heavy, not a big problem on a single item but if you are doing something big or multiple items you may need to give your hand a break. Other than that, it’s awesome!
