Here is a grinder that is really unique. With the natural patterns of the grains, Mother Nature has out done herself. With Mother Nature's creativity, each piece of wood is truly unique all by its self. From your table top or your counter, this piece will stand out where ever it's placed. This grinder will bring that rustic yet unique touch to your kitchen. Each one of my grinders is unique, with no 2 being the same. They are individually turned on my lathe with use of hand held tools and no thought of what it will look like when it's done. The pictures that are displayed are the actual pepper mill you'll receive. These are truly handcrafted. I do not use a stain on my grinders for many reasons, but I do use shellac and a wax. With smooth lines and soft curves, it is easily cleaned. There is an easily access door to fill the grinder with your favorite pepper corns and a thumb nut to adjust the grinder for that perfect grind. This pepper mill is approximately 9 3/8" tall and made from solid pieces of black cherry, tulip and maple. Cleaning and operating instructions come with each pepper mill. Here at the house, we use the same style grinder. Ours is on a different base. The pepper grinder that is shown will be the one you will receive.
