If you enjoy fresh ground pepper, then here is a grinder for you. Besides being functional, it will also bring a decorative and rustic touch to your kitchen. This grinder is made from solid pieces of black cherry and maple. Each one of my grinders is unique, with no 2 being the same. They are individually turned on my lathe with use of hand held tools and no thought of what it will look like when it's done. The pictures that are displayed are the actual pepper mill you'll receive. These are truly handcrafted. I do not use a stain on my grinders for many reasons, but I do use shellac and a wax. With smooth lines and soft curves, it is easily cleaned. There is a easily access door to fill the grinder with your favorite pepper corns and a thumb nut to adjust the grinder for that perfect grind. This pepper mill is approximately 9 3/8" tall. It is made from solid pieces of black walnut, red oak, black cherry and maple. Cleaning and operating instructions come with each pepper mill. Here at the house, we use the same style grinder. Ours is on a different base. The pepper grinder that is shown will be the one you will receive.
