Here is a grinder sure to catch everyone's eyes. It is made from solid pieces of maple, and black cherry. Besides being functional, it will also bring a decorative touch to your kitchen. Each one of my grinders is unique, with no 2 being the same. Each one is individually turned on my lathe with use of hand held tools and no thought of what it will look like when it's done. The pictures that are displayed are the actual pepper mill you'll receive. These are truly handcrafted. I do not use a stain on my grinders for many reasons, but I do use shellac and a wax. With smooth lines and soft curves, it is easily cleaned. There is an easily access door to fill the grinder with your favorite pepper corns and a thumb nut to adjust the grinder for that perfect grind. This pepper mill is approximately 9 3/8" tall. Cleaning and operating instructions come with each pepper mill. Here at the house, we use the same style grinder. Ours is on a different base.
