Red Tape Men's Stanton Brogue Formal Shoe

Ordering shoes online is a tricky one. This is my first purchase from Red Tape and it will not be the last for sure. It looks more expensive and well made. I ordered size 9 and sometimes size 9 shoes are not true to size and quite small but this one is the perfect fit! I am very happy with my purchase.

They are a nicely fitting, stylish, reasonably wearing shoe.However red tape do cut corners on the quality of the leather. As is also my experience with their Chelsea boot, the leather soaks up water instantly; it is clear that they do not oil treat.To anyone buying red tape leather shoes, I would recommend buying a leather oil or treatment product such as neatsfoot oil, or a synthetic linalool based product and applying before the first use in order to seal the leather, make it supple and protect it from cracking and moisture.It may seem like a huge deal, and to anyone who does not know about leather care it does, but for the low price of red tape shoes in general, otherwise, good quality and comfortable once worn in, they are worth the cheap price.

Guy at work spent £250 on a pair of shoes that look just like these and he had to break them in. These a very comfortable and stylish loving the white stitching around the soul . Bargain at the price high fly recommend

For not trying on before buying, I was over the moon with the fit and I wore them for the first time, I had them on for about 9 hours and did not hurt. I will be buying them in brown

Good shoe. For the price the quality is OK. Been wearing it for two months and it's already showing signs of wear. My biggest problem is that this is a narrow fit, and it wasn't really mentioned before. It would be good to state that, as I usually wear wide, and this makes the size seem much smaller. Would be ambivalent about recommending these shoes.

I bought these for my brother and says they are very comfortable and great value for money. He says they fit really well with no pinching etc.

At first I had my doubt about what I was going to get for the money. But I'm glad to say that I am very happy with the Staunton shoes. The shoe is a black Oxford upper with dark brown sole. They are very well finished and have a couple of extra touches that are very nice. Firstly, the inner sole is padded for extra comfort and it works as they are extremely comfortable. Secondly, the lining inside the show is a nice paisley pattern instead of the usual featureless beige.Overall, they were a great purchase and for a great price.

Good quality shoes and a very good price. Great for someone that doesn't like spending time shopping for clothes. Shoes were accurately sized.
