Edit on June 2021 , ok so I have 8 fur babies now 😅 all rescued and 5 out of 8 have stomach/irritable colon issues, but Lucy thank God keeps coming to the rescue, there have been sometimes I have tried a different brand (because I screwed up the orders and were running late etc) and every time we go to another brand even if it’s for gastrointestinal issues some of my fur Babies simply can’t handle them , the diarreah or vomits comes back and it’s a mess 😭 , BUT Lucy is just perfect for us , still very happy 🥰🤓💕💕 ********* I have 4 cats , my last baby we adopted had major stomach issues/infection / parasites you name it we lived at the vets office the first month we had her, poor thing , she was prescribed royal canin sensitive stomach dry and wet food (they are soooo pricy), but like I mentioned I have 4 fur babies , so while looking for that food options I found this Lucy product and the reviews , company history , price and that it was for all ages convinced me to try it , I could not be happier !! All my fur babies love it !!! And my youngest fur baby’s stomach took it so well she is doing great now , plus this company gives back to rescued fur babies !! It’s amazing , would definitely recommend

after a battle with giardia I needed to start feeding my 7 month old kittens something that would be gentle on their stomachs while rebuilding their gut biomes…this food worked wonders for their stomachs and they love it too. Because it’s a bit pricey I tried switching them back to a standard IAMs kitten food and it immediately messed up their bowel movements so we’re back to Lucy’s. I’m willing to pay a few extra bucks for a high quality food that I know works well with their digestive systems

This is like a drug to my cat--she can't wait to eat as soon as the bag is opened. Resealable bag is great.

I really wanted my cats to like this cause I believe in the benefits of this food but it just doesn’t seem too palatable for any of my 4 cats. One cat literally spit it out and the rest just smelled and walked away. They fish for their old food (Nacho cat food) and completely ignore Lucy. So they pick the Nacho kibble in the bowl over the Lucy kibble. I mixed old food with new since I wanted to wean my cats off of Nacho cat food cause although seems of good quality, my cats throw up and have a lot of gas and episodes of diarrhea… $22 bag of Lucy wasted but I figure it was worth a shot. Oh well.

So I've been giving this food to my 3 cats for about 2 years now. My one cat, Kevin, is who I bought it for initially because of his fur being so dry. After the 2 year mark I noticed Kevin wasn't going to the litter box like normal. Took him to the vet and found out he had developed crystals in his bladder from over consumption of protein/some mineral in his food. Vets words. I don't feed him anything but this food with a bit of wet food once a week or so. He ended up having to go through a procedure to remove the crystals and has been on antibiotics and since I've switched him to a UTI prevention diet and gave my other cats other dry food. Now I'm not saying the food doesn't work and doesn't do what it says it does. It actually does. But be advised that this, may be a problem for some cats. Maybe simultaneously feed with other kibble or get your cats blood work checked and all at least once a year. All my cats coats look great. As far as Kevin, maybe it's just his body, but be ware.

I want to start out by thanking Lucy's company for making the cat food that they do... I have a beautiful Siamese cat his name is Sushi he has been on Lucy ever since he was 6 weeks old yes he was a little guy but my little guy now is a year old and one day i went to get his cat food from the nearby pet store come to find out Lucy has pulled all their brands off the shelf Well I thought OK you know it's hard times with coronavirus I understand I wasn't mad i get it And the person at the pet store Never mentioned that you can by Lucy online, making me feel that I had no other choice but to buy a whole different type of cat food from a different company to my surprise my beautiful baby boy like the food but started to gain so much weight It was concerning to me So we had a vet appointment In the phone visit she mentioned that he was on the borderline of being obest and that he would have more health problems if I don't get his eating habit in control So once again I am out looking for different kinds of cat food omg come to find out that he could have been on Lucy's this whole entire time only if the information was given to me from the feed store So now he will be back on Lucy and all have my healthy happy little fun playing sushi back Thank you again so very much for making the products that you guys do and being there for us....
