Cleaner - does not absorb odor
Great litter box! Plastic ones and cardboard boxes absorb urine smell; this does not. At all. Musch easier to clean. Worth the money. I do not howeverned to use the lid...next time would buy one without lid.

Great for large cats / multi-cat households
We bought one of these a couple of years ago, the cats loved it, minimal litter spread with the high sides. Once we saw how well they worked, we bought two more. The iPrimio scoop handle is nice too - between the stainless box and the non-stick scooper, it's a much smoother process to clean boxes these days!

Read before you buy and you won't be disappointed.
Edit #2 (07/16/21): 3+ years and still going strong! So easy to clean. :) Edit (2019): We've had two of these for over a year now and it's essentially still the same as it was new. These are still my favorite boxes. We use PrettyLitter cat litter and a metal scoop, dump the box monthly, and scoop a few times a week. No stinky smells (unless it's a fresh poop), no sticking, ezpz. Original review (2017) below: This is my favorite litter box and I have experience with a LOT of litter boxes over the years with my own cats, foster cats, pet sitting, shelter work, etc. I prefer all metal for anything to do with pets as they can be quite gross and messy (we all know this) and diseases can easily carry through plastics and lesser materials. Metal is easy to clean and LASTS. I love that this litter box is metal, large (LxW), does not have sharp edges, has thin feet to help keep it from sliding around, and it's great quality. I'm going to go over some complaints I've seen: 1. "Catering pans are cheaper..." I'd like to know where you found a catering pans this large, without sharp edges, with the same thickness, and at least 6" deep at a fair price. If you have, so be it. Otherwise, no, sorry. This is just untrue. Most catering pans are 2" deep when they are this large and the edges are not ideal for this use. If you find one in comparable price, odds are that the metal is very thin. I've worked in both pet and food catering industries and can tell you that this product is 10x better than any catering pans turned litter box out there that I've seen. 2. "It's not deep enough!!!" This is your own fault. You know your cat(s). Don't order a product that doesn't work for them. 6" is plenty deep for most cats with a plentiful amount of litter in the box. I have two of these and, sure, they sometimes make a mess but they're cats. It happens. If you know your cat pees high, is Kangaroo Jack, or just likes to play in the box, consider other options. It's very clear in the photos and description that this box is 6" deep so you really don't have any excuse other than you not looking before buying. If you aren't sure if it'll work and you find out that it doesn't, boohoo. Rather than throw a fit, clean it and return it. Cleaning the litter box is part of your life as a cat owner. Welcome to the party. 3. "It's too big for where I want to put it." Really? Similar to above statements, READ THE DESCRIPTION before you order. 4. "Everything sticks." I've never had an issue other than one time we let one of the boxes sit for a week due to a busy life and pee collected. With the right litter scoop (the iPrimio one is great), it takes just a little force. Even then, still super easy. Just make sure you're actually cleaning the box regularly like you're supposed to and you shouldn't have this issue. Scoop at least weekly (daily highly recommended) and empty the full box every 1-2 months pending on your cat count and litter. Overall, I don't see any reason not to use this box if it fits your needs. They do make a high-side (plastic) attachment that can be useful to some homes, as well as a litter pad that is really great (go into it knowing that no litter pad is perfect). I do wish it were a little deeper (maybe 7-7.5" or at least I've a metal attachment) but it still works for my needs well enough.

Great litter box!
Love the look of this litter box, it's very clean and minimalistic. The sizing is great for my 2 cats, one of whom is quite large & has trouble getting comfortable in most litter boxes I've tried. The high walls are also very good for keeping the space clean, really appreciate the design!

Simply Excellent Durability and Functionality
This litter box requires no assembly. It consists of only 2 pieces, stainless steel bottom for litter and a durable top designed to minimize litter spillage. The top sits securely in place without fasteners and is very easily lifted off for cleaning. It's large and perfectly sized to accommodate my 2 big guys (fur babies). One at a time, of course! Clean up is simple because nothing sticks, stains or has corroded the box, so far. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, reasonably priced and good quality.

Stainless steel is the way to go!
8-2020 Best litter boxes ever! No scent (of course) and very, very easy to clean. I have a large, long kitty and the extra 2 inches in length of this box is great. The plastic boxes would get scratches from the litter and over time it would start to retain odor even though I scoop every time there is a deposit. ewwww. I was replacing the 2 boxes every 5-6 months and the last plastic ones had a terrible obnoxious odor that wouldn't wash away. Decided to try one stainless, the cat liked it so 2 weeks later I bought a second one, one cat= 2 boxes. I'll never have to buy another litter box. 8-14-25 It appears I wrote this review in 2020 but never submitted it (?) so this is the update. After 5 years these 2 boxes are still the best litter boxes I ever bought. They are open so the cat can watch out for enemies while doing his business. The boxes have a few scratches from the litter but they don't rust and they DO NOT retain any odors. The sides are high enough that the litter stays inside the box (except what sticks to his paws and hair) or occasionally what he kicks out. The stainless hasn't rusted at all which can happen if the metal has rustable impurities in it. For cost the initial purchase is higher than buying plastic but $45 divided by 5 years is less than $10 per year per box. Considering I was replacing the smelly plastic boxes at least twice per year these boxes are a no brainer. Unlike plastic, the waste is fairly easy to unstick from the stainless and the odor goes with it. Any residue easily washes off. I'd give these boxes 10 stars if I could.

Update: I also have 2 of these litter boxes that are now pitting at the bottom causing urine to leak out. The second litter box I received came with 2 black marks at the bottom of the pan, I didn’t really think anything of it and as time went on I realized they were tiny pits which have now become tiny holes. I read other reviews of people saying they contacted the company and were told it was their cleaner, or something that was the consumers fault but one of mine started out with black marks that grew to holes and my first litter box is now starting to do the same also. I never use any harsh cleaning supplies. (I use The Unscented Company products, amazing products) so it literally has nothing to do with what I used to clean them, also I use to line them before our new cat started ripping the liners out. Unfortunately I wrote a great review when I started out with these litter boxes. Now I’m looking for new boxes. Even though I hated plastic litter boxes, not once did they get tiny holes in the bottom. I’d still like to get a different brand of stainless steel box but not from this company. My original review, I had high hopes: This has been the easiest litter box to clean that I’ve owned. I have two. I also bought the litter scoop from the same brand and the frustrations I’ve had with other litter boxes is gone. I use Pioneer Pet SmartCat Unscented Clumping Grass Cat litter in them. I bought these boxes to replace the Cat Genie. The smell that the Cat Genie produced was discussing. There is zero smell with this new setup I have. I tried plastic litter boxes and they always held a smell. I’m not grossed out cleaning these Stainless steel boxes, it feels more hygienic to me. I’m using bag liners in them but I don’t really need to. I got the sides for the boxes and the sides are nice and high. One of my cats likes to pee close to the edge and the boxes are nice and big so she can turn around and do her thing. The sides have prevented accidents over the edge of the box. I know the price is high but for me it’s been well worth it. I wish I would have had stainless steel boxes all along, then I wouldn’t have wasted money on self cleaning litter boxes over the years, that at some point have to be cleaned and they are way worse to deal with.

it's not a stainless steel liter surface meaning there's some kind of layer from the inside it's stainless steel from the outside i mean it's still better than plastic options or any other but it turned out not as expected as in size it's really big and wide . hope it helps :)

I've owned cats for several years, and it never occurred to me to get a stainless steel litter pan. I'm so glad I finally did! It doesn't stain and hold onto the odours even after a wash, like a plastic one does. It's huge (fits my ragdoll boys in it easily) and deep enough that the litter doesn't tend to get kicked out the sides. Love it!
